I like those guys to varying degrees as well, but there has to be something tuneful behind the lyrics or I'm not interested. I can pick up a book of poetry instead. Music is music. Words are words. If both are top-notch, all the better, but to me, composition, sound, singing, instrumentation, and arrangement take precedence to the text.
