There are some truly terrible songs listed here. They are horrible in their own special ways.
I haven't heard they Missy Elliot song. I have also been fortunate enough to avoid the American Idol song.
The Justin Timberlake tune is less than horrible. I think it goes into the "What in the hell is this?" file.
The simple stupidity of someone covering "American Pie" has its own special little category.
"Barbie" was....well....moronic.
"Pictures" is could have been a good song without Kid Rock in it. He is not a singer.
The one that is currently making me want to take a shotgun to my mouth is No Doubt "Underneath it All." The song is just an irritant. How much less of an exciting song can someone perform?
One of the all-time champs of crap is Chuck Berry "My Ding-a-ling."
I am certain that when a future race digs up the remains of our crumbled society and tries to determine the source of our demise, they will conclude that "Mr. Roboto" had something to do with it.

In Baltimore when the ravens had a super bowl winning season, the djs would chant over it "Lets go Ravens", so it made that song a little bit more tollerable.

Love Shack - B52's
runners up include...
Everybody Hurts - REM (why don't they just record the sound of fingernails on a chalk board and be done with it)
Jenny from the Block (or whatever the song is) - J Lo
Round Here - Counting Crows
also... anything by Radiohead, Staind or Dave Matthews

Charlene - "I've Never Been to Me"
http://www.yimpan.com/Songsite/Lyric/index.asp?sid=6516
Originally sucked in the 1977, then again 5 years later. I couldn't stand it then, and it's still painful to listen to.
And now I have it stuck in my head.

I'm going with MFRONE on this one. That Limp song is just horrible and I'll admit I'm a bit of a closet fan. But geezus, that song is just bad. How much do you want to bet somehow Borland is back next album?
