Take a listen to Counting Crows cover of Big Yellow Taxi for all of your crap music needs. Special guest Vanessa Carlton adds corn and peanuts with background "MMMMMM....Bop, Bop, Bop. I hear Joni Mitchell leased a grave so that she could roll over in it.

Kokomo by The Beach Boys

Candy-assed sterile voices rhyming 'bahama' and 'pretty mama', 'key largo' and 'why don't we go'. Lame.

I would have settled for twice an hour. 3-4 times out here!

I like a lot of the songs mentioned here (Picture, Work It, etc), but not all (Justin Timberlake). However, the worst song in recorded history is:

"Christmas Shoes" by Newsong

I mean, come on. This would give diabetic an attack it's so sugary sweet. The kid's mom is dying, so he wants to buy her shoes? And don't bother mentioning the movie....I steered far away from it.

Starland vocal band - Afernoon Delight. That song makes me want to break things.

If you want to stick to more recent songs, then I would choose Eminem's "Without Me". Small talent, big ego. Bad combo.

What? Did everyone all of a sudden erase "Barbie Girl" by Aqua from your memories? Can someone give me the secret to do that? I want it out of my memories too.

If we're talking of all time, I would say You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone.

Pure cheese...

No discussion of the world's worst song is complete until someone mentions Stevie Wonder's "I Just Called to Say I Love You".

lmao....nearly everything mentioned i can't stand other than "Pictures" which will be in the overplay bin soon enough sadly.Luckily i listen to the radio as little as possible

Yet since this was started bc of Missy's song.

I do agree that song is horrendously annoying as hell just like everything else she's done.

I don't understand why people like her.I find her irritating beyond belief.Just as bad as every other mainstream hip hop & other genres polluting the airwaves.

None of this stuff will be remembered as 'good' or 'classic' years from now.Though sadly with how brainless the current gerneration seems. It just may happen...now thats sad/scary!!!!!!!

Holy crap!! Which landfill site barfed up this putrid wonder? The song actually had minor potential as a cheesy ballad...until the nozzle opened his mouth. At first I thought he was singing in Hindi. It must be intentional; nobody can be this wretched and serious at the same time.

As funny as that girly falsetto line is, I just break into laughter every time I hear him say "Everybody dance!" I have images of Waiting for Guffman whenever it comes on the radio.

The worst song ever? Has everyone forgotten "She's having my baby"....good lord! She's having my baby..what a wonderful way to say she loves me? That song makes me want to get a vasectomy.

It would be fun to hear Jesse Jackson sing this though hmmm....
