Sorry for the three posts in a row but here's what I'm getting now:

We are unable to fulfill your specific request. We may not have the type of tickets you requested or the number of seats together that you are looking for.
If you are unable to find tickets, be sure to check back often. As the date of the event nears, many times a limited number of tickets may be released.

I actually had tickets up on the page in the 300's section, but somewhere inbetween loading that page and putting in my info, the page "errored out".
And when I backed out and tried again I just get the "sold out" standard message.

They really ought to do a pay-per-view for this show. I've pretty much given up on trying to get in the doors in person. But I'd love to see a live-feed from the concert just the same.

And not just a streaming video thingee online.

Well, I know most of you guys probably know this already but try ticketmaster.com at random times over the next few weeks. As the orders get processed all the ones with rejected credit cards etc. will be released back into the system.

Btw - next time anyone tries to call for tickets at MSG make sure you dial correctly - if you hit area code 202 instead of 212 you get through to the DEA .

Icculus - while it's true about rejected credit card orders being released back into the system, I'm a little concerned that the online system no longer lets you enter your information for the Madison Square Garden show just to do a random search.

The page I loaded just now only states that the show is sold out. It doesn't let you go the extra step of actually checking for more tickets. Does this mean we can only do that checking now with phone orders? That would completely suck.

I just saw that, I guess it won't work anymore (it's been a while since I've used TM online). You used to be able to get to the ordering page no matter what, it would just search the database and tell you the show is still sold out (I managed to get floor tickets a few times that way). Yay, NYE in NH again - that's better than going to MSG and seeing the first Phish show in more than 2 years, right?

Not if NYE in NH means the same thing as it does in VT.

In other words, boardgames, microwave popcorn and . . . wait for it . . . Dick Clark's Rocking New Year's Eve!

bust - you're a lucky guy. congrats.

i was shut out of mail order for all 4 shows for the first time in 79 shows. tried for 2 tapers tix for msg, and 2 each for all 3 hamptons... then the ticketbastard fiasco this morning.. well, let's not even go into that...

tomorrow morning's gonna be even worse. 3 shows going on sale at the same time... i have no hope at this point..

had a hotel booked for hampton the day the shows were announced.. now it looks like i won't even be there.

well, good luck to you guys tomorrow. and if you wanna be sick, just head over to choicetixx.com and look at the prices... yeah.

My favorite UPS driver delivered my tix last night at 7:00. Merry early Christmas to me!

Well, I got shut out of NYE but I just found out I got tickets for Worcester . I thought I was screwed again (the last day to find out is today) but then I got the email... I'm psyched, I'm taking my little brother (he's 16) to his first show .

you know what? i'm seriously thinking about just 'hanging it up' with phish, after 79 shows..

ordered 2 tix for each of the the last SEVEN feb shows - taper preferred. know what i got?? 2 tix for the first night of cincinnatti - the place that's farthest away from me!!

they really need to go back to the old system... the old system which required people to actually have MONEY to get tickets...

i'm extremely fed up right now.

My sister and I were talking about that earlier tonight (she got shut out as well...). I understand that it's a lot easier for them to do things the new way but I kind of miss the old way too. You had to put some effort in to get it right and get tickets, if you couldn't follow simple instructions you were out of luck (and apparently a lot of people couldn't handle simple instructions).
