what happen to the bootleg thread?

and what was the name of the site they were talking about where u can download whole concerts or shows?

Do a search for bootleg or mp3* and you will see the way that such discussions can go here i.e. they often stay open but occasionally do not.

But please don't start new threads about threads/posts you can't find. You can either use Feedback or email a moderator. In this case my answer is "I have no idea"....

.... if a thread goes missing it means that
  • it is still there and you just forgot its title
  • the originator deleted it<small> [1]</small>
  • a moderator moved or deleted it
Speaking for myself, I move very few threads and don't recall deleting any; although the rare superfluous post may bite the dust to defuse tensions.

The obvious answer is to bookmark any site that you think might prove useful when you first see it mentioned.
