Do a search for <i>bootleg</i> or <i>mp3*</i> and you will see the way that such discussions can go here i.e. they often stay open but occasionally do not.

But please <b>don't</b> start new threads about threads/posts you can't find. You can either use Feedback or email a moderator. In this case my answer is "I have no idea"....

.... if a thread goes missing it means that<ul><li>it is still there and you just forgot its title<li>the originator deleted it<small> [1]</small><li>a moderator moved or deleted it</li></ul>Speaking for myself, I move very few threads and don't recall deleting <i>any</i>; although the rare superfluous <i>post</i> may bite the dust to defuse tensions.

The obvious answer is to bookmark any site that you think might prove useful <i>when you first see it mentioned</i>.
