I've never heard it but I find it hard to believe that it tops Drowning Pool's "Bodies" for sheer stupidity.

One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Argggghhh!!
Let the bodies hit the floor!
Let the bodies hit the floor!
Let the bodies hit the floor!

(Repeat approx. 150 times)

This song makes me miss this Skid Row classic:

They call us problem child
We spend our lives on trial
We walk an endless mile
We are the Youth Gone Wild!

We stand and we won't fall
We're one and one for all
The writing's on the wall
We are the Youth Gone Wild

a MUCH better "we are youth, hear us roar"-ish song

The song that has that line"I love the way you smack my ass" I find to be one of the dumbest lyrics out there as well.

Yeah so I'm going to chime in here whenever a topic even remotely heads in the direction of religion on here I ignore it, but want to say something. I hate religion, and I think it's a load of crap, for me. I have been to enough 3 hour funerals/weddings, and other services to know religion is not for me. Now this is were I differ from others if you truly have faith(keyword) and live your life the way your religion tells you for the most part, and it makes you happy then more power to you I am not going tell you you're wrong. Now on to the comment of cristian music is crap, and you can't enjoy it unless you are into that kind of thing is totally wrong. I hated christian music my friend used to listen to DC talk and a bunch of other crappy bands and it would drive my almost as nuts as country. But then I heard POD and some other stuff that I couldn't tell you who they are, and I think they were pretty cool. I hate Limp Bizkit, Eminem, and a few others but I still like some of there songs it's pretty retarded in my opinion to dismiss any genre or band completely without hearing everything because it's possible you might like something. Also I'm tired of people hating songs because they are on the radio a lot they are on the radio a lot because people like them, and if they didn't play them people would b1tch so it's a lose lose situation. If you hate it that's fine, but don't hate it because it's on the radio a lot. With the exception of Metalica(any minnesotan who listens to 93X knows what I'm saying)

yeah.. songs like Alive, Satelitte, Ridiculas, The Messenjah, and Portrait all have pretty strong Christian themes. And all of those are just from their new album.

All their albums are filled with songs about God and Jesus, or just Christian themes.

I really don't know how the song is "retarted."

Well, between you and DodgingCars, you could start your very own thread discussing how great the song is. Then we'll compare the number of agreements on both sides and see who wins. My bet is the 'retarded' vote wins.

careful, it's a butterfly ballot. We wouldn't want the ARROWS POINTING TO THE CHOICES to confuse anyone out there.

Sorry, but I don't need other people's opinions to validate my musical tastes. I like the song.. I like the lyrics. You don't... that's fine with me. Obviously lots of people like POD or their album wouldn't have made it to #6 on the Billboard charts... so I don't think there is any need for a poll.

Why is this song being singled out out of all the songs repeated on the radio, also I think we should not refer to this song as "retarded" I use that word a lot at work (mainly they way we do things sometimes is reatarded) but it doesn't seem to eb the right term if you don't like it.

Also does this thread take longer then usual to load it doesn't have pics or anything.

Several comments on this thread:

-This is not the worst song on the radio these days, just one of them.

-Only one time has a children's chorus ever worked in a rock song, and that's "You Can't Always Get What You Want." (No, I don't want to hear about "Another Brick in the Wall.")

-If "retarded" is the best critique you can come up with, please refrain from posting....ever. (even you DTSC )

-Hanging a song or album's reputation on it's chart is not the way to make a valid arguement on the merits of a song. Last week, "J To Tha L-O! The Remixes" was number one. Billboard charts are determined by 13 year old girls.

-No, no one should tell you what to like, and what not to like. However, if I didn't ever listen to people's opinions on music, I would still be listening to White Lion.

-POD is not Stryper. Just because one band is religious does not make them interchangeable. Is Shabba Ranks the same as Bob Marley?

Another good song that uses a children's choir is from the Scotish group called The Delgados, the album version is choir-less while the CD-Single is a reworking of the song. It's really eerie to hear children blatanly singing about drug use - "Come on baby find a vein"

If that comment is directed at me... I was making the point that a poll wasn't necessary, because POD has already proven to have many fans.

Again, if this is directed at me, my point was that I didn't need a poll of people's opinions to validate my tastes. Of course I read album reviews/articles etc and read music magazines...etc.

Well then.

Not only are they 'retarded' but they're both LAME and DUMB.

Ha ha, take that.

FWIW, I was at the Blazer game tonight and they started playing that song while some middle school dance team was doing its routine during a timeout.

If THEY are the youth of the nation, then it's time the youth of the nation stopped eating fast food.
