Scores
Whats your favorite scores and why?
Star Wars- Any of them are just what movie music is all about. They've got emotion, adventure, excitment, etc. John Williams is a genius.
Lord of the Rings- This is quickly becoming my favorite score of all time. Track 17, the Breaking of the Fellowship is now one of my favorite pieces of music ever.
Superman- Nuff said.....
Hook- A score that didnt garner as much attention as it should have. Big, robust score that perfectly fits Peter Pan.
Braveheart- I love bagpipes.
Batman- Danny Elfman is a genius. nuff said....
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon- I love the cello too.
yours?

I absolutely love the music in "Cinema Paradiso". Ennio Morricone is simply brilliant. His work in "The Mission" is also tops. I also think Vangelis has done some very interesting work.
"The Last Emporer" is another movie with great music.
