Re: What happened to Peter Berg?

Christ, the amount of bile hurled at the man is ridiculous. You'd think I asked about Uwe Boll.

And there is a reason I am concerned. I had been faithfully following Neil Peart's blog in his retirement when it went from regular updates to a sudden stop in summer 2016. We now know that's when he got his cancer diagnosis, and he obviously did not wish to continue like nothing happened.

So when someone suddenly deletes their personal and professional social media and goes silent, my antenna goes up.

Haha. I think we're all kidding.

Except that Shocker is awesome. You should all watch it. It's a little goofy.

As a director he has two movies in post-production and as a producer he has tons of stuff in production, so I wouldn't worry about the fact that there is nothing lined up at the moment. Regarding his social media accounts, perhaps he just hates Elon Musk.

Or maybe it is just a good idea to get off social media. Or get off on social media. Although that might force you off social media.

Back to the two butthole problem . . .

Leaving social media is like quitting smoking. It’s actually very good for you with no known downside. Everyone should try to do it. But I empathize with the addiction if they can’t.

Quitting the business account seems kind of unusal, since it is a medium for promotion, but if you look at the filmforties instragram account, there hasn't been any posts for a couple of years. So probably Peter Berg just isn't into social media.

This doesn't look good. Does anyone know what's going on with him?
Maybe he's just waiting for Mark Wahlberg's schedule to open up.

Wait a second... did someone just riff on the older-than-Methusaleh "Iceberg, Goldberg" joke? I'm telling Abe Foxman

antisemitic undertones cockblocking us from the genius of battleship 2...

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?

OK fine, I aint gonna riff on antisemitism, homophobia, xenophobia, we can all agree they are all very bad things. But by the end of the week, by Friday nights, lights across America are dimming in the wake of institutionalized hatred and oppression.

Yeah sure, all you care about is this Sunday and whether or not it's gonna be the Patriots day at the Super Bowl, but you'll conveniently ignore how America is turning into THE Kingdom of arbitrary hatred in the western world. The lone survivor of all this? Crypto interests, duh.

How would you categorize your rank-and-file 2026 American? Primeval? You wouldn't be far off from the truth. Their global awareness is akin to a faded battleship scuttled and sunk somewhere off the deepwater horizon. God, save Texas from themselves.

It's all one great big emotional shocker but here's the rundown: you got my John Hancock on any petition to save our democracy from this last seduction of populist fascism. And federal troops in Chicago?? Hope their Project 2026 marathon peters out by mile 22.

Corky Romano.

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?

What in the name of Peter Berg am I missing in this thread? Do I have somebody on block that I don't know about?

Is there any chance he has been assimilated and is now known as Peter Borg?

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?

I'm starting to wonder if Peter the Berg should be the forum mascot. It might be just the kick in the patootie that this forum needs to take off again!
