What happened to Peter Berg?
I just recently noticed that Peter Berg has disappeared from social media, deleting both his Instagram and the one for his production company, Film 44. Just a few months ago he was posting pics from the set of The Mosquito Bowl, which he is not directing, by the way, just producing. He also has no directing gigs lined up, only producing.
This doesn't look good. Does anyone know what's going on with him? |
Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
Not sure. Last I heard he’s hanging around the Call of a Duty adaptation, which could be epic.
Also, everyone should be deleting their social media. |

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
Looks like he did a Netflix deal. Probably still honoring that while developing Call of Duty. Was American Primeval any good?

American Primeval was great. There's one scene in there that's literally an homage to the Normandie Beach scene of Saving Private Ryan. Highly recommended. |
Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
This thread kind of reminds me of the old "tree falls in a forest" conundrum.
If Peter Berg deleted his social media, would anyone notice? I'm surprised to learn today that the answer is yes. |
Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
This is f'n hilarious, I'm watching the first ever UFC event on Paramount+ right now and John Anik (one of the announcers) just said "Director Peter Berg in attendance tonight just walked over to Pulyaev's corner (one of the fighters) and advise he's behind and tried to talk him up"
So in short, Peter Berg is currently at the UFC event in Vegas right now  |

This is what happens when you develop parasocial relationships with celebrities.

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
Peter Berg is also the name of an ICE Field Office Director in Minnesota, so maybe this Peter Berg wanted to get his name of social media.

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
I have heard rumors that new information indicates the Titanic may have actually hit a Peter Berg instead of an iceberg. Maybe he's trying to lay low?

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
I'm all for this turning into a second "does bread shrink when you freeze it" thread

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
I don't know, but he's got a good John Houseman name... "Peter Berg... Mr. Berrrg."

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
I’m amazed that anyone thinks that Peter Berg has anything interesting to say or post about to actually miss him.

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
Google said he has some dementia issues
Hope that is not true. |

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
I heard he has two buttholes and he’s going through surgeries to get the one closed off. Google it.

Re: What happened to Peter Berg?
I'm pretty sure he has dementia. He was posting on X about the NFL kickoff rules and how he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.
