In all fairness, the few times he runs in those movies are after he's been shot to hell, hit by cars, and or survived improbable falls. At that point, I'm amazed he can walk.

That was a fun watch. The stories about filming the bus jump scene were great.

The other day I watched the original for the first time since the mid-90's. Reeves and Bullock have good chemistry, but I can't say that I'm terribly invested in what happens to their characters once the credits roll.

I guess a Speed 3 could be fun if they spent hundreds of millions of dollars and did a bunch of crazy vehicle stunts with minimal CGI, but what are the odds of that actually happening?

What would the vessel be? Obviously not a bus or a cruise ship. Train? Is that too much Under Siege 2?


Can Jan de Bont come back and direct it as a sequel to Twister with a bomb?

Speed 3? At what point would Bullock's character be banned from using all modes of transportation? Speed In Space?

Come on you all know that is has to be an EV and when it runs out of power Kaboom!!!!!!

Wait for it - what if they do speed?! It could be an homage to The Hangover.

If it is a Tesla it could go boom anyway.

I’d love to see Jan de Bont or John McTiernan come back for some late in life action films. Repair the genre. Even if it’s just a final try or two.

If this happens (doubtful), they're obviously going to pretend Speed 2 didn't happen.

I still remember after the first Speed was a huge success, someone interviewed Bullock and asked her if she's willing to do a sequel - and she said she'd only do it if Reeves was back. And then the studio drove a dump truck full of money up to her house - and a sequel was born.

Even though he wasn’t in the second one, it would be amusing if Keanu Reeves had 4 franchises with 3 movies or more.
