re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Glad he's out with his family. He looks good. He needs to keep working on getting the muscles in his legs stronger. Can't imagine how much muscle atrophy he suffered being stuck in a bed for so long.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
I sure hope he didn't try riding any roller coasters or fast rides. That would have put some serious stress on his body. I'm guessing they gave his group skip the line passes so he wouldn't have to wait long for them while they went on rides.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
The whole Diane Sawyer interview (41 mins) is on Disney+. She even checked out the snowcat. I honestly shed tears at how tough he was to survive and the love of his family. Towards the end of the segment, he had sent her a video of his progress, walking down steps just using a cane. Such a miracle he's alive.

You'd think Disney would have at least sprung for Disneyland passes...

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
The thread title should get an update like [Alive and Recovering]

Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Wow he’s walking with a cane now. Dude that’s amazing.
He’ll be back on set as Mike McCluskey in no time. That’s his character on Mayor of Kingstown for those who don’t watch it. |
Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Geez, that is one speedy recovery. Maybe he should have been the MCU's Wolverine instead.
|
Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
It certainly helps that he can afford the best medical care in the world, but he also seems to be an incredibly determined, dedicated and mentally tough human being.

Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
It sounded like in his interview now with his recovery that he doesn't plan to work this year and that might be a good idea. Focus on his health and be 100% in 2024 He said that he had a pretty busy schedule and then this thing happened, so now his schedule cleared up. He can definitely afford to take a year off. Or not work until way late this year if he chooses.

Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Great to see him in the Kimmel interview. Amazing progress in his recovery.

Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
I was half expecting him to reenact the scene where Willy Wonka comes out with a cane.

Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
He was mentally tough especially when waiting for the medical team to arrive so they could stabilize him. After his surgeries he seemed determined to get better. When he progressed from the walker to a cane that really improves one's mental outlook. When my former boss had to use a walker, he couldn't wait to stop using it. He literally threw it in the back of his truck.

Re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
He is a musician too.
Hope he did not write this after Super Bowl 58 after another 49ers Super Bowl loss. :( |
