My guess is he got out to do something and it rolled over his leg. Simpler is probably closer to the truth.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
I read that he’s got chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
what a shitty start to 2023. Like Renner, I like being outdoors, but try to avoid the cold and rain, and extreme heat since I have gotten older.
From daily crap mail Hope he is able to recover. but the lack of news on his leg and other details has me concerned.Marvel star Jeremy Renner requires a SECOND surgery to address his 'extensive injuries' but is 'conscious and speaking' after losing a significant amount of blood when he ran over his own leg with a snowcat at his Lake Tahoe ranch I read that he’s got chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. |

I read “rolled over his leg” as the damn thing drove over him. Judging by the tank treads on that snowcat in those pictures, if it rolled over his leg, it did some serious damage!
Regardless, hoping he's able to pull through this okay. |

If it ran over his leg, makes me wonder if someone else was in the cab. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up losing his leg. Crush injuries are really bad in that regard. Depends on the nature of the accident, but having your leg smashed by a big tread like that would probably destroy the leg. Like getting run over by a tank. |
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Latest report states he has “blunt chest trauma” which means it ran over more than just his leg.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
I just saw The Hurt Locker again, just to see his talent in a great movie. Hope for him and family he pulls through ok in the end.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Assuming there's no amputation involved, I suspect he'll still have some permanent physical issues because of this - which will probably impact his ability to do action roles.
Fortunately he's a good actor and doesn't need to rely on those types of roles. |
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Hope he gets better
I know he wants to get back to full health so he can watch his 49ers kick ass again. |
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Damn, first hearing of this. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
|
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Just heard something happened to him but didn't know what. I hope he recovers!

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
I hate to post in this thread as it will bump it but this is the first time I saw the details of how he got injured. Man I am worried about my snowblower let alone that beast. I really hope he makes a full recovery but I have to wonder if the trauma was too much for his leg to play a role like Hawkeye again. :(

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Renner's update on IG. Since this forum's ability to show IG posts is screwed up, I found Discussing Film's tweet with them taking a screen grab. Glad he's awake.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
The 7 ton vehicle apparently started to roll, he tried to get back in it and was run over, or something like that: https://deadline.com/2023/01/jeremy-...ce-1235210769/

Glad he was able to have pic posted. Hope that's an early positive sign for a full recovery. Wish him and his family the best.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
14,000 pounds? That's a massive piece of machinery and weighs more than 2 pickup trucks combined. I hope he fully recovers.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
I’m glad he’s awake and (at least somewhat) able to post on social media.
The link posted above says Renner is an honorary deputy sheriff in that county. Sounds like he does a lot for his community. |
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Wow. Mayor of Kingstown is pretty damn good. Renner is a force in this. Granted I’ve only seen first 2 eps, but damn if this isn’t a gem. Why wasn’t recognized with Emmy? No nods, nothing. Weist is awesome as well. This is some powerful shit.
Just saw Wind River recently too. He’s so good. |
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Hope for a quick recovery!

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Hope he makes a full recovery. With the treads on the side you can see how tough it would be to get back into one if its rolling.

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
I think the first time I saw him was North Country and he was such a prick and probably somebody to watch as his career blossoms.
I forgot he was in a Dahmer movie in the aughts and he was pretty good in that too. |
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Get well, Jeremy

re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Loved him in Wind River
|
re: The Official Jeremy Renner Thread
Glad to know he seems all right. Renner's a guy I've really grown to like. Unfortunately, my introduction to him was Bourne Legacy, so that didn't give me a favorable opinion of him; however, after his roles in the 2 Mission: Impossible movies, the Marvel flicks and Wind River that initial opinion has done a complete 180.
