This looks great IMO. I'm always up for an A24 movie. And love a good ghost story. The trailer reminded me of "The Others" in spots. Nice to see Martin Scorsese attached as the executive producer. Currently at 95% on RT.

I saw this at NYFF. I really enjoyed Hogg's previous films, The Souvenir 1 and 2.

This has some gorgeous, atmospheric, photography to evoke old British haunted house films. I found some of the film to be funny in parts. Swinton is good in the dual role. But it is kind of dull. Not bad though. That trailer is definitely edited to make you think it's one type of film, but it is not.

It was the 4th film I had seen that day and it was 9pm so maybe I was just tired. I would revisit it.

A24 is dumping this on digital to own today and rental on the 16th.

Finally saw this today and I loved it. I found it both hypnotic and haunting. It also evoked the same atmosphere as "The Innocents" IMO. And Swinton knocked it out of the park. Thumbs way up. 9/10 rating from me.

I wanted to see a spin-off film about the receptionist.

HA! Yeah, she was a laugh a minute.
