The People We Hate At The Wedding (2022) S: Janney, Platt, Bell, Addai-Robinson
In the hilariously raunchy comedy The People We Hate at the Wedding, dysfunctional American siblings Alice (Kristen Bell) and Paul (Ben Platt) along with their ever-optimistic mom (Allison Janney), are invited to the British wedding of their estranged half-sister Eloise (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) as a chance for them to reconnect as – more or less – adults, and learn to love each other like they once did.

I watched this for Ben Platt and Kristen Bell. The characters were mostly unlikable, but not in a you-can’t-stand-them way—more like annoyingly selfish, I guess. Anyway, it was kinda funny, and the cast is strong.

The ages in this film simply aren't believable. No way does Allison Janney have a teenage son.

Awful movie, pretty stupid and flat humor. Ben Platt is a terrible actor and the rest of the cast was wasted in this trainwreck of a comedy.
