Damn, across the $600M domestic barrier and still going. In this COVID era, very impressive.

Even more impressive if you are of the opinion Disney MCU is bloody awful.

You guys are mean, lol. Since this is a Sony film it will not show up on D+ 45 days after it stops playing in theaters (which given how this film is doing at the box office, will be quite some time indeed), so it will eventually be available to purchase on Vudu, or Amazon Prime, and blu/UHD, but as far as a traditional streaming service that is the equivalent of Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, or Paramount+, well...actually maybe you are not being so cheeky after all Story with your reply that it will not show up on a streaming service.

Wait, just realized the the first two Sony/Marvel joint Spider-Mans did show on Disney+, but not knowing when this particular film will be easy to watch on demand via a streaming service is part of the reason it is the rare film I saw in theaters.

I don’t think either of the first two Home Spider-Man movies are or were on D+.

I believe the current contract is still with Starz, but not sure... the Netflix deal starts with films released in 2022.

It's going to go to VOD and physical media sometime in March as most expect it to go. Then it's going to hit Starz in late 2022/early 2023.

This is a great interview with Garfield that is worth checking out.
It's a follow up from a May 2021 interview where Garfield adamantly denied being in the movie. Some funny discussion about the leaks. I also thought it was amusing how he kept the secret from Emma Stone who kept asking too.

Re: Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021, D: Watts) - S: Tom Holland - The Spoiler Reviews Thread

Finally came around to watching the movie last night. The appearances of Maguire and Garfield, I did suspect would happen, were spoiled for me here in The Eternals thread, but they brought much more to the movie I was hoping for. They elevated the last act of the movie and the three Peters working together was great to see. The rest of the movie was pretty damn fine to. The beginning was a little bit to silly for my taste, but not so ridicoulus as most of Far from Home. With the appearence of Doc Ock the movie turned into the best Spider-Man movie since Spider-Man 2 and one of the best MCU movies so far and I salute that they gave Peter time to grief. The MCU tends to break emotional moments with stupid jokes and I feared they did here so too, when they introduced the other Peters, but they went back to a grieving Peter right after that.

It will not be screened in China. By comparison, Endgame made $629 million in China. If it came close to those kinds of numbers, it would be 3rd all time behind Avatar and Endgame.

Good addition to the Spider-Man franchise and a quasi-reset. Fun seeing the old guard in here with Maguire and Garfield along with their foes and at least their inclusions didn't feel as forced as I feared when this movie was first announced. The relationship between Tom Holland and Zendaya worked better than in Homecoming and even Far From Home. Will be interesting to see where the series goes from here. ****/*****

Rented this on Vudu. Was disappointed to find out my old FandangoNOW gift card wasn’t accepted anymore.

Anyways, great movie. I did a good job at avoiding spoilers. I only knew about Doc Oc and the rumors about McGuire and Garfield before the movie came out. Pure speculation. I avoided spoilers post movie release.

Had no idea all those villains would appear. And I’m glad they weren’t gimmicky cameos, but fully immersed into the plot.

Only way you could have possibly avoided spoilers is you don’t watch YouTube, you don’t do social media or don’t follow any pop culture or entertainment news sites. And you probably barely watch any TV. Because the home video marketing was all about the 3 Spider-Men.

Yes, I am very careful:

1. YouTube - I avoid searching superhero movie related videos. Scared of that algorithm. The occasional No Way Home video would pop up, but I apparently did a good job at scrolling fast.

2. I mute and block hashtags for specific TV shows and movies, so it’s really easy to avoid spoilers on Twitter. LOVE that feature. I don’t run into spoilers on FB or Instagram, since my friends don’t talk about that stuff.

3. And I don’t read entertainment websites anymore. If I did, it would only be Comingsoon.net and that’s it. Haven’t been a regular visitor on that site in years.

4. If a No Way Home commercial came up on Hulu Live, I mute it quickly and just check my phone while I wait.

See, it’s easy
