Sigourney Weaver posted:

“Every day Yaphet Kotto blew me away on the set of Alien. He just went for it in every scene, making the stakes higher and higher and giving each scene a terrifying reality. It was a nonstop master class for me and I will always be grateful to him. Rest In Peace Parker… Over and out, Ripley.”

Time to watch two of his best: Larry Cohen's Bone and Paul Schrader's Blue Collar.

I need to watch Blue Collar. A friend mentioned it and I was going to blind buy it from the UK, but it may be OOP on BD.

The Powerhouse standard version is not OOP. It's available in the US via Kino.

Good looking out. It's not on sale, but I'll take it and make a small order out of it.

There are a few mentioned in the thread if you browse through it.

I'm surprised the word "decent" is in your vocabulary.

Was watching MGM-HD over the weekend, as they had a Pam Grier mini-marathon. He had a prominent role in Friday Foster, so it was a nice if unintentional tribute to him as well. Fun little movie, too.
