That looks really fun and it looks like it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Definitely an Edgar Wright style movie. Looking forward to it.

Colman Domingo seems perfect as an over the top game show host.

Looks like a mash-up of the original story (random people helping to hunt the contestants on the street) and over the top characters (like the Arnie version). Looks fun to me!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every Edgar Wright film so far. It appears the streak could continue. Easily one of my favorite filmmakers.

They really should have gotten Steve Harvey to be the game show host.

no fucking way. he would turn the movie into slapstick comedy. Coleman Domingo is hot right now and very talented. he looked perfect in the Richard Dawson role.

Nope... I refuse to watch Family Feud because of him.

Not like Pat Sajak is doing anything... ;)

The word from Ciinemacon a few months ago when they showed some footage is that this nothing even remotely like the 1980s Arnold movie. So don't expect a remake.

After rewatching the original not long ago, this is likely a good thing.

That trailer looks really fun! I saw Katy O'Brian in there briefly, I like her.

Yeah, sure. That looks fun.
Weird getting this film and The Long Walk so close together.

Yep. Domingo looks perfectly unhinged in this.

Wow. Am I the only one who thought that looked perfectly generic and totally bland?

The only thing that had me interested was Edgar Wright’s name. In Edgar I trust, so I hope it was just the trailer editors.

^ After the sure thing that was Baby Driver ended up being a complete dud, Wright no longer gets the benefit of the doubt from me.

I agree the trailer was edited poorly but a lot of it still had that playful feel of Wright’s best movies.

Maybe we will finally get that long awaited Rage adaptation...

...or maybe not.

Dang. I liked Baby Driver. Tough crowd!

I’ve been showing my mom all the Edgar Wright films and the only two left are Baby Driver, Sparks Brothers & Fisful of Fingers. Her Favorites were Hot Fuzz and Last Night In Soho. She was only mildly amused by Scott Pilgrim.

Looks fun, I'm cautiously optimistic. I love the book and wasn't a fan of the wildly unfaithful Arnie film version.

Yeah, really. Unfortunately we will likely never see a Rage film adaptation, and I can't see Roadwork translating into that interesting a film (it was always my least favorite in the Bachman Books collection).

Nope, right here. I hated it. I don't know if it was the character Baby or Ansel Elgort's performance, but I thought he was insufferable. I was pretty much bored with the movie too in general. Regarding "The Running Man". The trailer has piqued my interest. I'm still a huge fan of Wright, I like the original film, and Powell is an extremely likeable actor.

Fun trailer! Edgar Wright & Glen Powell? I'm in!

Back in 2017, I attended a Q&A screening of Baby Driver at the Alamo Drafthouse in San Francisco, CA. Both Edgar Wright & Ansel Elgort were to be in attendance.

The film had run a bit longer than I expected and I decided to miss the Q&A to avoid getting a parking ticket (or worse).

On my way out, I accidentally bumped into someone at the theater doors. As I went to apologize, I realized it was Edgar Wright and quickly asked him if he could sign my copy of Shaun of the Dead (which he did) :D

I'm hoping for some good visceral action sequences.

Concept doesn't seem too far away.

Weird, back in 2017, I wanted to use the restrooms at the Alamo Drafthouse in San Francisco, CA. On my way in, someone accidentally bumped into me at the theater door and asked me to sign his copy of Shaun of the Dead.

Eh, guess this is not for me. I love the Arnold version, and do understand how that version is very different than the original story. I really dont like Powell and his weird face. Just put Scut Farkus in his place.

I'm hoping this is better than that Awkwafina movie from a year ago that had a similar premise.
