From the creators of 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Shallows, HORIZON LINE is a thrilling survival story about two former lovers, Sara (Allison Williams) and Jackson (Alexander Dreymon) who discover new altitudes of fear aboard a single-engine Cessna plane. It was supposed to be a routine and casual 99-minute flight to their friend’s tropical island wedding. But within minutes after takeoff, their pilot suffers a fatal heart attack, leaving Sara and Jackson with no idea where they are, no comms, and no clue how to land the plane. I know this movie is probably not on anyone's radar. It's gotten no promotion other than 1 trailer. I posted this over a month ago.

This is currently like a $7-8 rental, so I rented it a few days ago and watched it last night.
I was never bored and found it mostly entertaining. It's about 85 minutes with no credits. 90% of it is probably shot on a green screen with the 2 main characters. I didn't realize this was produced by Jaume Collet-Serra, who directed The Shallows. The style is heavily influenced by that movie.
Allison Williams was okay as the lead. However, I don't think she did a really great job selling the terror of the situation. She was pretty wooden through a lot of it. There's multiple situations that are extremely ridiculous.
Overall, I'd probably give it a C+ and maybe a 6.5 out of 10. I didn't think it sucked, but it was an okay 1 time watch.

Rented this over the weekend and it was fine... C+ or so. I found the leads unlikeable and was really, really hoping for a twist (considering the Cloverfield thing). It had some very tense moments but overall the "issues" were stupid and stupidly fixed (umm, duct taping a spewing gas line?? Also, how did that gas line get the puncture?).

This movie was ridiculously dumb... but entertaining for sure. I was surprised to see it actually had a budget of $20mil. I figured this was something like $5mil or less. The effects look pretty good for what they had to work with, so that must be where majority of the money went.

The guy fixing the spewing gas line with duct tape (and one-handed while he did it) was some of the most absurd shit I've seen in a movie.
