Did Instagram change their settings recently? I used to be able to view open IG accounts on the web without logging into an account at least for a bit but now I cant at all. I mean as recently as 2 days ago I was able to do this.

I think heard Henry Cavill will return one last time in The Flash.

Why Flash? He had two recent openings to reprise the character. It has been almost five years. Are they going to bring him back just to wipe him out?

Actually, that's exactly what it sounds like. It sounds like The Flash will be the final film in the Snyder timeline. Which is obvious, but they really are treating it like that. I think I already know what happens to Ben Affleck's Batman, but can't reveal because it's a major spoiler.

If that's true, The Flash is a shit note to go out on.

Still, take that with a grain of salt, but seems likely though since he is absent in Batgirl.

Yeah I was thinking about this the other day. It is confusing considering these movies are suppose to tie in together. It will all come down to what their rules are.

On top of that we're getting another season of Peacemaker which also ties in with the Snyder universe.

I don't know why WB hasn't just gone whole hog on the Black Label idea from the comics. You can have your creator-driven works and then your DCU in separate spheres. Just smack that Black Label asset on the marketing and consumers will get it.

So Cavill wants to come back, but they retconned everything with Flash? Just stick his movie in Black Label.

They've been de facto doing this for years, but have never solidified it as a marketing strategy. You'd also likely lure in some top tier talent to get those rolling and probably make bank on top of the box office returns of the DCU stuff.

This feels like when Triple H was punished for the Kliq.
Cavill is taking the hit for Man of Steel, BVS, and Justice League.

Warner still seems clueless as far as what to do with their DC properties. They claim there is no connection between any of their movies yet they continue to have crossovers and cameos which only causes more confusion. I can only see Flashpoint making this problem worse and not better.

Not if it's a Flashpoint Paradox-type of film. It's the only way to go out on top. IMO

Yes, because it does not look like they are wiping out Gadot or Mamoa. The pieces that could get wiped are taking the blame for those three movies.

Don’t forget Ezra Miller. WB is in such a weird spot with the DCEU. It’s really mind boggling how they screwed it up so badly. I’ve learned to be more lenient on them, and have liked a lot of their output, but the DCEU is definitely a mess.

They were trying to compete with things on the outside, when they should have been competing with themselves. There should have been a Man of Steel sequel before BVS.

I mean I was saying that right from the very start. I wanted a sequel to Man of Steel as well as a solo Batman film before Batman V Superman.

Gunn's Suicide Squad and Shazam! are leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the DCEU quality wise. The only ones I really dislike are JL2017 and WW1984, but the whole thing hasn't come together that well.
