There was nothing good about that film except for the Mickey flashback.
That you don't like it doesn't change the fact that Rocky IV is one of the more popular films in the franchise, next to the original Rocky and Rocky III. But everyone hates Rocky VI and while Rocky II isn't hated, it isn't fondly remembered either so it's probably the most neglected one in the franchise.

I got it mixed up. Rocky V was the one I hate.

Rocky IV gets criticized a lot for back to back musical montages, and for going in a more unrealistic direction. For me though, it's one of my favorites. The original Rocky is obviously the best, and a very good dramatic film. Rocky IV is almost like an action film but I really like it. They were all highly enjoyable except for Rocky V. There are films that represent the best of the 90s and Rocky V seems to represent the worst of that decade.

Cars 3 is worlds better than Cars 2, without question. Still a meh movie, but an improvement nonetheless.

I beg to differ. Cars 3 is an abomination. I can’t even tell what kind of audience would like it. It has a plot no one could possibly care about.

As opposed to, say, the extended episode of "Mater's Tall Tales" that was the shitshow of Cars 2?

The thing is it’s definitely not great, but I feel like it’s one of those instances where if the film was called something else it wouldn’t be viewed as negatively. It’s kind of watchable in a cheesy way. Just not a great Godzilla movie.

This is a good one too. It’s really the most different film in the franchise. I’ve always been a defender of it and feel like it’s fairly underrated. I can see why it’s a black sheep, although at the same time it’s also the only film after T2 to not try and copy the first two films in different ways.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch is my answer to the thread’s question. It literally is a black sheep by being a complete departure from the rest of the franchise. I love it, but it’s definitely an outlier and I can see why some didn’t like it.

I was going to go with Godzilla vs. Megalon. The worst of the 70's films, and basically an extended episode of a bad Tokusatsu TV show.

Final Wars aside, I never really considered GINO as part of the canon.
