Did someone post a picture of them that only looked like Andy Dick and Larry David but was actually them? Are we not talking about a possible Matrix reboot/relaunch? Should the people that made the original not be mentioned in a talk about a revisit to their work? Not really sure where your inability to understand the conversation comes from. Perhaps you should re-read the thread.

Everything that happened in THE MATRIX was real. It was a documentary, not science fiction. The Matrix decided to alter our perception of the Wachowskis, so now we see them as Lana and Lilly. You're not supposed to remember them as Larry and Andy. There's evidently been a glitch in the Matrix. You will be getting a visit from Agent Smith soon. Let's pray that Morpheus gets to you first.

I went to the theater specifically to see the highway scene. The fight on top of a "moving" truck left me cold. All they had to do was to make the trailer sway as it went around curves, bounce a little on its springs when Neo landed on it, and brake suddenly when the driver thinks the banging behind him indicates something is wrong with his load. But they played it like the actors were standing on a bluescreen stage.

When I first heard they were doing a remake of this,...they must be really running low on creativity out in Hollywood. There's not a darn thing wrong with the original.

I fired this up last night and it was just a great as the day it came out...and the SE's are still as solid as ever...the infamous Lobby shoot-em-up scene is still amazing. All the characters are dead on and who played them. What's next...a remake of Iron Man, Thor, Transformers, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter....
