Robert Duvall Ain't Done Yet!
Well this article made my day. Duvall remains my all time favorite actor. His resume is legendary, but the roles have become fewer and fewer in the last few years, and we may not have many more years with him. I think The Judge was his last truly outstanding performance.
Anyways, this is a fun interview and sounds like Duvall has no plans on retiring just yet.
Well, somewhat—we’ll see, we’ll see. There was one project that never came to be, which is just a travesty and I won’t talk about that, and then hopefully there’s a thing with Ed Harris that I’m going to do. He has a wonderful project called The Plowman from a great book that features woodcraft and carpentry in Montana State. We’re supposed to do that hopefully in the spring, and it’s a wonderful project. I hope that comes to fruition.
I would love to know what the project was that never got off the ground.

Robert Duvall is an actor that has gotten better the older he’s gotten. He was great when he was younger but his slow, methodical, acting style in his older years can’t be beat.
My personal favorite performance of his is from Open Range.
