Peppermint is an action thriller which tells the story of young mother Riley North (Garner) who awakens from a coma after her husband and daughter are killed in a brutal attack on the family. When the system frustratingly shields the murderers from justice, Riley sets out to transform herself from citizen to urban guerilla. Channeling her frustration into personal motivation, she spends years in hiding honing her mind, body and spirit to become an unstoppable force – eluding the underworld, the LAPD and the FBI- as she methodically delivers her personal brand of justice.

I'm certain they would say it was character motivated but that "JLo in Enough" wig they have Garner in looks like shit and she looks like shit in it.

Haven't seen Gardner star in a film in what seems like ages.
Seems similar to American Assassin, Death Wish, etc... But I'm in.
I don't understand the dislike of Death Wish above, it's one of Bruce Willis best films in years. Sure it's not fantastic, but it's good for what it was. Bruce Willis in the last 5 years or so has mostly been a B-lister anyways with a bunch of films that didn't seem worth watching... So Death Wish was a bit of fresh air in comparison.
Seems similar to American Assassin, Death Wish, etc... But I'm in.

It's about time Jen Garner gets another starring action role. She hasn't done action since The Kingdom 11 years ago.

My first thought was "maybe this will be what Death Wish should have been". I enjoy those revenge type action thrillers anyway. Hopefully this won't suck. I'll just Moviepass it..... Oh wait, that sucked. If it's out while I'm traveling on business will definitely be on the list.
