Sciorra's story sounds eerily similar to the one told by the woman Ronald Reagan raped in the 1950s when he was the president of SAG.
And then there's the horrific rape and beating Natalie Wood endured from an a-list actor.
This shit has been gojng on for decades.

Re: Decades of Sexual Harassment Accusations Against Harvey Weinstein (New York Times
He's not coming off well in the comments section over there. His story is interesting, but it feels very self serving. His claim that Weinstein buried Grindhouse is crazy. The film was heavily marketed and opened on thousands of screens and was #4 at the box off. The film bombed in the following weeks because audiences didn't get it. Anyone who remembered a grindhouse double feature was pushing 50 at the time.

I agree. El Mariachi thrilled me and the follow up, Desperado, was brilliant. Everything else has been a let down, with Once Upon a Time in Mexico being the biggest.

^ I like From Dusk til Dawn the best but I agree Rodriguez has been a let down as a director for the most part.
And I’ve never walked out a movie in the theater but the closest I’ve ever come to waking out was when I saw Desperado.

Janis Paige at 95 recalls that not long after she began work at Warner Bros., sometime around 1944, she was subjected to an attempted rape by Alfred Bloomingdale, heir to the Bloomingdale fortune and quite a well-known philanthropist. It was her (unnamed) director who insisted she go to dinner with Bloomingdale and that she would be safe. Bloomingdale was later involved in other, better-known scandals. Look up his mistress Vicki Morgan and what happened to her. His wife, Betsy Bloomingdale, was a close friend of Nancy Reagan.
Here's Janis Paige's account:

Good to see Variety running the "exclusive" on this in light of their jaw-dropping puff pieces on Ratner back in the summer.

Direct quote of a Facebook post from an L.A. friend of mine whose husband is a TV producer :
Me too, again. So when I was sixteen, I was walking down the street in New York and a guy stopped me. He said he made movies and I had a very special look and he'd love to cast me in something. I told him to get lost, but he wrote down his name and all his credits and insisted he was for real. He spent twenty minutes trying to convince me he was not hitting on me. He was believable. I finally got curious a day or two later and called. He invited me to where he was editing and said we could hang out. I got a really different vibe on the phone than I had in person, so I hung up on him. I was upset, my secret dream was to be an actor, so I was totally disappointed. I always wondered if maybe I overreacted, maybe he wasn't being creepy. I looked so young when I was sixteen, really I was a child. I didn't really think of relating to adults that way so I had trouble imagining they really wanted to relate to me like that. Well, all my wondering if I made the right call ended last night when I was catching up with news online on CNN. I'd never forget his name because I had written it in my address book so I saw it for years after. Plus I see it in credits every now and again. James Toback. Really glad I never visited that editing suite. And so glad all these stories are coming out, I hope it continues. And I also hope we don't concentrate on just the monsters...there's so many ways in which women are objectified and belittled by all of us, not just men. I hope and pray my daughter knows a better world.

in regards to Robert Rodriguez,
First off, Desperado was great. El Mariachi, Desperado, Once Upon a Time In Mexico, The Faculty, From Dusk Til Dawn, Spy Kids...That's a great run. Sin City wasn't my cup of tea, but it innovative.
But about his statement.
I didn't think it was that great either. He questions why Rose's then-boyfriend didn't beat up Harvey Weinstein...well he were her boyfriend too. Why didn't HE beat him up? Rodriguez is questioning that guy's manhood but not his own.
And I always assumed that he cast McGowan in the movie because he started having an affair with her, not because it was an F---- --- to Weinstein.
And from what I remember, McGowan implies something different from Rodriguez' version.
A question to everyone here: is Robert Rodriguez an enabler? Should he have refused to work for Harvey Weinstein after learning the details of what happened to this girlfriend? Is there an excuse, since, if doing so, he may have been blacklisted too, or it would have hurt his career even more?
The story from Anabella Sciorra is pretty crazy. My first thought was, why not go to the police? But then that one Italian model DID go to the police, nothing happened, and somehow gossip about her romantic life/sex life is leaked to the media. Did the cops tip off Weinstein?

And Ratner sure looks like a junior league version of Weinstein:

Judging by his work, there’s no way he took directing advice from them. So likely purely creepy sex stuff.

Wow, this isn't a surprise, but considering Spacey is still technically in the closet and Rapp was 14, things are going to get interesting.
Then again nothing really came of Travolta trying to get jerked off by multiple male massage therapists, so who knows.

Spacey officially came out as gay on his Facebook page tonight responding to that allegation. He said he doesn't remember it since it was 30+ years ago and he apologized to Rapp in his post.

I bet Travolta's nervous now. I'm sure he's had many incidences that we haven't heard about yet.
Tom Cruise apparently gets NDA's signed for everything, so if he tried anything funny - it might not come out still.
