The fact that Weinstein's abuse targeted so many women over a long period of time makes me laugh at his "people make mistakes" and "I deserve a second chance" bullshit - since it's not isolated to a single event or even over a short period of time.

But if there was anyone who still thought Weinstein deserved that second chance - this latest bit of information should really change their mind.

One does wonder just how many other power players (not just in Hollywood) have contracted services from the likes of Kroll and Black Cube. I'm sure they're only two of many, and Weinstein's only one of thousands of high rolling customers. Imagine the tsunami of effluvia that would be unleashed if someone hacked and released documents from these companies. I'm sure the Panama/Paradise Papers couldn't hold a candle.

I think you're right. A rich and powerful movie producer can get all the beautiful women he wants without being an asshole about it. Even women who would be perfectly willing to be humiliated in a hotel room if it leads to being seen with him having drinks in the hotel bar afterwards. But that wasn't enough for him. Only total domination got him hot.

I thought about that while I was reading the article. It will get serious consideration, if only because Pulitzer committee members will want to show that not everybody in the media participated in the cover-up.
