Nice, looking forward to this. I have to wonder if it’s the best idea to release this in July though being in the middle of summer blockbuster season. Tarantino has enough of a following it’ll probably do well, but I feel like it would be better off later in the year.

I agree. Even August would have been better than July. We'll see when the trailer drops how they're selling this. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a "The Nice Guys" situation. Sony better not fuck up Q's first time with a new studio. Though, Tarantino's name alone is enough to sell it and be modestly profitable.

Remember, this was supposed to come out in August but they moved it up due to their bad taste. IB came out in the summer, it did very well, but I have to agree that this date might not be the best. It's the week after Lion King and a week before Hobbs & Shaw. Pushing this to August 16 makes more sense to me.

I would think more like Fall actually, but I’m guessing Tarantino wants to avoid a situation like he had with The Hateful Eight where he was feuding with Disney over theater times.

I'm not necessarily feeling the new posters. That Brad Pitt one is weird because there seems to be photoshop on his neckline - looks weird.

Margot Robbie looks really hot in that poster.
FWIW, there was a horror made in 2016 that starred Katie Cassidy as Sharon Tate. But her version was pregnant like how she was when she died.
