Re: Esquire : The 50 Scariest Movies of All Time
I just recently watched a bunch of the old Universal Monsters movies...Thought The Invisible Man and Frankenstein were the best, but they just don't hold up (in my mind) compared to the movies I listed...My favorite Black and White horror movie would probably be Repulsion...

Bump: Tis the season!
In search of movies that make you want to cover your eyes. I'm a pretty jaded horror fan, looking for movies that really want to terrify you.
Recently watched Ghost Stories (2018) loved it overall, and a few scenes made all the hair on my body stand up, literally. After 40+ years of watching horror, that's such a great feeling.
Also watched Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum the other night. As mentioned in the challenge thread, this movie did a number on me. Hell House LLC is another that's freaky as fuck.
Looking for recommendations of movies that make you want to turn the lights back on!
