WTF was this movie? serious, campy, horror, Tom Cruise was like a cartoon. So now he and Jake Johnson are good mummies in search of cure?
this was uninteresting and just a plain mess. i guess Crowe was the best part, but even that's a stretch. looked like a monster from The League of Extraordinary Gentleman or even Van Helsing. egads.
the extra .5 is just for the fact i like Cruise, no matter what shit they put him in...

A perfectly serviceable sci-fi action film; no real horror elements and the attempt at universe building felt a little off. I would elevate this from a C+ to a B- had they dumped the Jekyll narration at the beginning that seemed to solely exist because the studio didn't think viewers could handle backstory about the villain being delivered piecemeal throughout the film.
