possibly, but the first lines she speaks in that new trailer sounded like an grizzled old man before I realized it was Hamilton speaking.

She isn't the first Hollywood Babe to destroy herself with cancer sticks.

I'm watching the first one now. Arnold's Terminator in the original is more frightening to me than any horror movie slasher.

He’s great. It’s great. Only thing about the movie that always bothered me is when he went to bathroom to pop eye out. I know bc of the time, but just thought the practical effect didn’t work in that scene. Still incredible and so basic considering what came after. Did Cameron have the lore and 2 in mind when making first? I would guess not since this was his first big thing and not nearly the little seen Yeti we have today. Cameron’s like this mythological creature that only comes out every 10-15 years or so now. So weird, that he has to take so many years to invent new technologies to create his visions. Don’t get me wrong, I have loved his theatrical visions, but just make fucking movies we always liked prior to Titanic sized head (pun intended) on the reg or semi-reg...

I'm watching Salvation now. Part 3 was tolerable. This is awful. As for Cameron, I've missed his work. Avatar wasn't really my thing, but movies like the first two Terminators, Titanic, The Abyss, True Lies, etc. were multi-repeat viewings for me as a kid. His technology he invents usually stands the time, the first Terminator being an exception.

I'm glad they updated the Terminator franchise and ditched the literal white savior theme. I'm not happy John Connor's importance has diminished in the mythos since T3: Rise of the Machines, but if you're going to be more "diverse" to appeal to a larger audience then it make sense to have more Mexican representation, story-wise, in a movie set in modern day Los Angeles.

Tickets are on sale now. I got mine for Halloween night in Dolby Cinema. I also got an email from ArcLight Theaters saying that they were doing a member's screening on 10/30 Wednesday night.

Yeah I got mine for Friday the 1st. I have a credit for Cinemark and I'm seeing it in 4DX. Not sure what they entails.

Don't even bring up "Pops" that version no longer exists.
But the T-800 in T2 was from the same line as the Terminator in the first film too. Just reprogrammed. That seemingly is the case here too since Schwarzenegger’s character (assuming he is a Terminator) is helping Sarah and company.

Yeah, it definitely feels like she’s lost a lot of her acting chops. Almost all of her delivery feels forced. I want to like this, but I’m just not seeing much here that makes me think it’s going to be very good. Just seems like more of the same from this tired franchise, which I hate saying as I love the films.

I'm so tired of this franchise been shoved into our eyes that I kinda don't feel like ever re-watching the original two films anymore

I guess this is opening overseas first. They're doing press screenings on 10/21.

The first two are awesome no matter what. I think T2 is one of the best movies ever made personally. Even the third while not as good is still pretty entertaining for it is.

What rating are they shooting for on this? I really hope it goes back to its R rated roots...

They can make this the most bloody and violent of all, but I’m all but certain it’ll be another shitty story further destroying this franchise.

They filmed most of this in Hungary and Spain, with spots in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Pretty much agree here.

Most recent TV spots during football yesterday were dreadful.

None of the trailers/spots/extended promo have even come close to making me get advance sale tix... Looking more and more like I won't see it until home video, if then.

I didn't know there was a "literal white savior theme."
I'm not happy John Connor's importance has diminished in the mythos since T3: Rise of the Machines, but if you're going to be more "diverse" to appeal to a larger audience then it make sense to have more Mexican representation, story-wise, in a movie set in modern day Los Angeles.
True.

Agreed.
T3 had the misfortune of following Cameron's sci-fi masterpiece.
IMO, it's a solid sequel.

Well, not if Judgement Day happened. Everyone is dead.
