Holy crap, I had no idea Elba would be such a hot answer. I haven't been following the rumors but just reading the occasional headline. I put Gillian Anderson at first because that was the most recent headline I'd read, but then went with Elba because he checked more boxes (British male).

I could have sworn that I read somewhere that James McAvoy was considered to play

Max Von Sydow was the only name I could think of. Fortunately for me I really liked
