Here is the last red band trailer, I don't think it gives away anything, but I am excited for sure to see it now.

I'll be the naysayer here. I think it's pretty front-loaded (d'oh!). I think the only legs it has is what's on the screen (d'oh!).

I'm looking forward to seeing it.
I can see this pulling in similar numbers to Johnson's last comedy Central Intelligence. I think this can pull in $125-140M domestic.

And this is the snippet from the one fresh review:
Some Rock-related enjoyment to be had, but this is a real misfire, and a missed opportunity.

Wow, down to 7% now. I have to admit I'm really surprised, because the trailers have been pretty good so far. That stinks.

Sounds like Stuckmann's review is fair, especially the parts that disappointed him. He knew what to expect...except for so much penis.

I'm seeing it this weekend, I don't care what the reviews say.

The highlights didn't even strike me as funny. Efron calling The Rock a hairless gorilla or having dead man's fat drip in his mouth isn't funny... falling off a jet ski isn't funny. I'm not surprised this is disappointing in the reviews. We all want 21 Jump Street... instead we're going to get CHiPS.

I don't like Gordon's directing style, everything he does comes off as disjointed to me, even A Fistful of Quarters.

Eh, Effron has been torched in reviews lately, but I've enjoyed his recent films (if only because Plaza is in them). Like others, reviews be damned, it's got the Rock and it'll have my money.

I just came home from seeing it, and although it played out like an episode of the tv show done today. Throwing in dirty jokes to call it a comedy kind of ruined it. I would much rather they played it as a straight action movie. Also the fat guy shouldn't have been in it, him having a crush on CJ was just embarassing. The so called 'Graphic Nudity" was
If this makes enough money for a sequel, please spend more time in development to make a better movie.

Why would anyone seriously goto the movies to see this crap? This is a movie you watch on HBO late at night when there is nothing else on just to see girls in Bikini's. The reason I am calling people out for seeing this is that you are the problem with the state of crummy summer movies. If people stop seeing this shit, then they will be forced to put out something better then rehashes like Baywatch and Chips, along with the dopey comic book movies.
There was a time in the 90's when they actually put out Academy Award nominated movies in the summer like Apollo 13, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, but now it's shit like this and it's amazing that anyone would pay money for it.

Same kind of dumb-minded summer fare came out in the 90's as well. People don't mind paying for stuff like this as long as they are entertained by it. This is no different. I for one usually catch stuff like this on TV, but if the wife or friends want to go see it, then I have no issue with that.

Silly comedies have been a summer tradition for a long, long time.

No doubt there are silly comedies that are funny, and then there a silly comedies like this that won't be funny. I have not seen the movie, but I guarantee you this won't be remotely funny, or probably as unfunny as Chips was (I didn't see that either, but I'm going on a hunch that wasn't funny either since that no talent Dax Shepard was heavily involved.) These types of movies (taken from classic TV series) RARELY are ever good, or even remotely watchable yet they keep on making them for some reason.

Tough to tell, everybody has a different sense of humor, I thought My Big Fat Greek Wedding was awful and that still pulled like $250m domestically and was critically decently reviewed. Liked Jump Street.
