Thought this was ok, kept me entertained which is all I ask of any movie. I did like the constant meta joke of why would a lifeguard be doing this and why not just call the cops throughout the movie.

Yikes, this one was pretty bad. The special effects and CGI look very low budget, the gags felt forced, and there didn't seem to be any chemistry with the cast, except at certain points with Rock and Efron. The movie was just a huge miss.

Finally saw this one. I chuckled a few times, but the vast majority of the gags felt forced and very predictable. I liked the interplay between the Rock and Effron. Some of the swearing seemed a bit out of place to me for some reason. For an R-rated movie, especially one that was specifically trading on hot girls in swimsuits, I was surprised by the lack of female nudity.

Yeah watch it this weekend. Completely forgettable. They wasted Daddario too, as a side character. She should have been the main focus with Johnson and Efron.

I did buy this for $8.99 during Black Friday. I was probably one of maybe 5 or 6 here who saw it in theaters last summer.

It's a bad movie as The Rock said, but it has a stupid guilty pleasure factor.

No, there's no nudity unless you count a dead man's penis.


For those still waiting to see this, I believe HBO will be showing Baywatch sometime this month. I saw a promo for it as an upcoming movie.

I saw in the theater while on a business trip. It was absolutely better than sitting in a hotel room if that means anything. There was some eye candy but no female nudity

I have been waiting for it to hit cable for what feels like forever, so thanks for the heads up that it should be on HBO this month...I am sure it will be a fun watch. I do like that The Rock can appreciate that it was a bad film and is being a good sport about it.
