The direction the Jurassic Park World movies should take is that dinosaurs have taken over the world, causing civilization to collapse, and the humans survivors have to struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by dinosaurs. Sort of like Romero movies, except with dinosaurs instead of brain-eating zombies.

I definitely think they need to find a new direction for the series. Jurassic World was fun because it had been so long since we've had one, but I can't say I'm excited to see more of the same.

As much as I don't care for this film the dinosaur screaming at the lion is a pretty bad ass scene. Considering the T-Rex was the real king of the jungle.

I hate the stupid tagline, or actual dialogue in the film, "if we're not careful we're gonna be extinct." Uh, no, dummy. They nuke the island back into oblivion and bye-bye dinosaurs - there's the human extinction theory.

Yeah, I'll be seeing this at the theater but I got a free ticket for it, so...

I love when a guilty pleasure type summer blockbuster is released. Members here become film snobs and act as well if they’re embarrassed to watch it and feel they need to come up with some excuse when they actually do.

There’s a lot of “I guess I’ll see it but I don’t have to like it!” type posts that appear.

For fuck’s sake, you’re grown men, if you want to see it, see it without shame! If it looks like shit then don’t see it.

That is actually the only thing that has made sense to me. In fact they spell it out in the trailers.

It looks like they go "rescue" the dinosaurs because of an animal rights organization -- "We can't allow them to go extinct" (the Jeff Goldblum courtroom/Congressional hearing scene is part of that debate). Then it turns out the "rescue" operation was just a cover for one of the mega-corporations to get their hands on the dinosaurs to weaponize them (they all but say this directly).

I agree completely. I really hate the newest trailers as it seems to give away the entire movie. I will be shocked if there is much more to the story or if the trailer disguised the actual story/plot.

I just hope it has more and more T-rex roaring at things scenes. They should have one of those scenes every 8 minutes or so. Never gets old.

One of the best movie I have ever seen, and as we say this quote "old is gold" no doubt this movie is the evergreen movie. would love to watch its latest part!

I liken this franchise to the F&F series... silly and over-the-top but I can turn my brain off for 2 hours and be entertained.
