I don't like the idea of a young han solo movie but since they've done it, I'd rather the actor they have (after an extensive search) than someone trying to imitate Harrison Ford the whole movie. Especially since, as others have said, he shouldn't be the Han we know from IV yet.

And is that Alpha 5 in the co-pilot's seat? Not sure I can handle the destruction of another wise-cracking droid with a heart o' gold.

Also, is the cloud scene part of the Kessell run?

This will be the performance that will either make or break the movie.

This is why I avoid trailers/teasers after the initial release of one.
Seen too many movies over the years and don't need a lot of information to make an educated guess about an upcoming movie and...I want to be surprised!

Looked OK. I'm sure they'll have a new Solo trailer attached to Black Panther.

A lot of passive agressive shit from Schmoes know, you can tell they are secretly pissed. We all know your schills for Disney. I'll say the trailer is passable, but no one at Lucasfilm can be trusted to deliver here.

Visually, it looked very Rogue One'ish which is a great thing as I love the look of that film. I'm hoping the tone is Rogue One'ish too as that movie was very serious but had just enough touch of humor in it. Sadly, it looks like Solo is going to try to be more funny and that is usually a bad sign when the comedy is forced (TLJ and The PT are a perfect example). I think we have to see the movie before we judge the actor playing Han Solo, as there just isn't enough footage to really get a good gauge.
