Looked fun and I liked how the aesthetic looked like Rogue One. I hope this delivers.

Not bad, but keeping the actor playing Han under wraps seems like an odd choice.

Really, some beautiful shots in there, like the Star Destroyer coming through the clouds or whatever, the pimp shot of the Falcon in the fog, the funky gold singer, the train. Looks like Tag and Bink at the beginning of the trailer.

My only qualm is that the Falcon looks too new. I was always under the impression that the MF was an old ship, at least thirty or forty years old, if not older. The interior looked factory fresh. This probably takes place ten or so years before ANH, and I don't know if Han Solo is going to fuck the ship up that much in so short a time.

It's a teaser, and they wanted it to end with "Your name?" so I mean, it makes sense. At least it wasn't one of those sound + spinning logo teasers.

Yeah that was odd or it’s the ultimate trolling! I was expecting some final line to sell the thing to us, but maybe in the longer trailer.

But who else is expecting the Lando film to be fast tracked...

The reveal of Glover as Lando looked more bad ass than that of Han’s reveal at the end which looked terrible...

I get it, it just didn't work.

Donald Glover will probably be the only good thing about this mess.

The music was pretty bad ass.

Looks good to me. Seems like it fits in aesthetically with the Original Trilogy and Rogue One and nothing jumped out as awful like I feel some were anticipating. Lando seems cool so far and while he’s not Ford I think Ehrenreich looks the part from the little that’s seen so far.

I hope they keep some of the Miller/Lord stuff. I was kind of looking forward to that style, injected into the Star Wars universe.

Glover certainly looks interesting as Lando, but can he be as suave as Billy Dee?

You're spot on with the aesthetic observation. That was a big part of Rogue One fitting into the saga, and I'm really start to think the prequels made a big mistake in not having that same look. We're talking about a civilization that's 10s of thousands of years old. It should not change that much in 20-30 years.

But anyways, this looks great. Han as an Imperial, the Falcon looking clean and Lando looking suave.

I think Ronnie Howard just might have made a silk purse out of a sow's ear here.

Yeah, that's one of things about the Star Wars universe. It's a culture that has been space-faring for thousands of years, countless of worlds full of advanced civilizations, an entire galaxy explored and colonized. It's going to be a rather stagnant culture, and it seems there available technology would have reached its peak long ago.

I can sort of understand how the prequels were shinier and more sterile because most of those movies took place within the halls of power (Jedi Temple, Senate, Palaces), but even the places like Tatooine loked too clean and polished.

Get ready for the pretentious reviewers commenting how he's impersonating Lando, and not playing Lando.

That's the shot that got me excited. I think even if the ship is decades old, a guy like Lando is going to be meticulous in its upkeep. That hunk of junk gets detailed on a regular basis! Look at how spotless Cloud City was. Same owner. I love that shot.

I was mildly hoping that the teaser would change my mind about this movie being a bad idea, but at the risk of threadcrapping, it really didn't.

It looks ok

Looked fine for a teaser; was hoping for a little bit more then what we got, but oh well.
