Star Wars movies with Luke, Han, and Leia that take place right after ROTJ. More James Bond movies with Sean Connery. Season four and five of the original Star Trek.

In about ten years we'll probably have crossed the uncanny valley and they will be able to make completely convincing CGI re-creations of actors. So they can resurrect dead actors, and de-aged versions of actors.

With that said, watch me be blown away by the fucking trailer when it eventually hits.

re: Star Wars Anthology: Untitled Han Solo Film (2018, D: Miller & Lord)
I'd actually be all for that. Sorry, but I want Han Solo to look like Han Solo. And Han Solo looks like Harrison Ford. So if it is a rubber nose, CGI, or a guy who really actually looks like him then fine. I can wait for the technology to catch up too. But trying to shoe-horn in a random young white actor, and some young black actor into these roles, who look nothing like the original actors, and calling them Han and Lando is insulting.
With that said, watch me be blown away by the fucking trailer when it eventually hits.

Better keep the new Han away from his leading ladies!
Carrie Fisher is finally going public with a secret she has guarded closely for 40 years: When she was 19, she and Harrison Ford, then a 33-year-old married father of two, had a whirlwind three-month affair while filming the original Star Wars in 1976.
“It was so intense,” the actress-author, 60, tells PEOPLE exclusively of the real-life romance die-hard fans of the franchise have wished for since Han Solo and Princess Leia captured hearts on-screen.
“It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend,” she says.
After stumbling on often angst-ridden journals she kept while filming on location in London, she felt the time had come to open up about the formative experience. “It’s been 40 years,” explains Fisher, who went on to write The Princess Diarist, excerpted exclusively in this week’s issue.
Ford, who had a heads-up about the book from Fisher and received a draft, didn’t respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
After spending their first night together following a birthday party for director George Lucas, Fisher was wracked by self-doubt.
“I looked over at Harrison. A hero’s face — a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow,” she writes. “How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?”
Although their unlikely romance took Fisher by complete surprise and ran its course once the film wrapped, she remembers the time fondly.
“I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about him,” she says. “He was kind.”
For much more from Fisher — and to read the exclusive excerpt of The Princess Diarist — pick up this week’s issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday.

Evidently. That's what the article says. I imagine since that marriage is no longer and the kids are grown up he's cool with it.

It didn't say he was cool with it. It said he was given a head's up. Big difference.

I am pretty sure I've heard that somewhere before. Must have been a rumor out there someplace.

Ford's first wife died a number of years ago and Ford has mentioned in the past he wasn't always a good husband or father but did always take care of her and their sons. He even bought her a home and paid her medical when she was going through her illness. Unlike his second wife Ford did seem to stil love his first wife and they were able to get along through the years. He never talks about his past transgressions and I doubt he responds to what Fisher wrote because he knows what he did was wrong and probably still has guilt about it.
