Then check out:

Not only is Collison Course funnier than Rush Hour, it also includes what I consider to be Jay Leno's finest performance as a lead actor in a movie.

Of all of Jay Leno's leading roles (in my opinion), this was the only one.

Read the Wikipedia synopsis. Sounds like a charming flick.

If you like "Home Alone" and would like to see a more realistic version, check out "The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete."

It sounds like the remake of Mother's Day to me.

Re: Recommend lesser known movies (but with a twist)

Probably nothing much new here, but I'll give it a go...

If you liked The Matrix, then you might like Equilibrium.
If you liked The Machinist, then you might like Bug.
If you liked The Cave, then you might like The Descent. And then you're probably not going to like The Cave anymore...
If you liked The Cabin In The Woods, you might like Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
If you liked Identity, you might like Frailty
If you liked Halloween, you might like Cold Prey (Fritt Vilt)

And the loner is :

Session 9 - can't think of what it is similar to.

Hmm...I will give it a shot.

If you like Predator (or its sequel), then you might like Split Second (unfortunately, you may have a hard time finding a copy to view, maybe you can stream/youtube it).

I remember seeing Split Second in theaters.

Almost all of the "lesser known" movies thus far have been pretty well known.

Identity and 88 Minutes are both dreadful movies.

Its funny but i guessed the bad guy in Identity in almost no time at all. For some reason i thought "These movies are always trying to provide a twist. With that rationale i believe the bad guy to actually be......as they are the least likeliest." And i was right. Utter turd of a movie.
