Re: Favorite Movie in Marvel's Cinematic Universe?
I seriously cannot choose one favorite. The best I can do is give a range from Most liked to Least liked.
Most liked:
Captain America Films (A hero series that I'm shocked to have enjoyed as much as I do)
The Avengers
Thor Films
Guardians of The Galaxy
Least Liked:
Iron Man Films (I actually hate IM films more as time goes on. To me IM now shines brightest in an Ensemble)
Hulk Films

Re: Favorite Movie in Marvel's Cinematic Universe?
There's only one Hulk film in the MCU. Lee's doesn't count as canon.
I like Lee's fine but I do hate the dogs, the stupid military jerk guy, and the addition of Banner's father as the villain.
Saying that... It's actually a great character drama. I would have preferred it if it somehow ended when Hulk turns into Banner and is held by Betty. I honestly thought it ended there when I first saw it. Then the father vs son fight happens and while I don't like Banner's father in this... The end fight itself is very beautiful.
That one also had a nice textured Hulk too. It had some very good mass and movement on him.

I think it is just Fox. Unlike the Maximoff twins... I think only Fox has Mr. Norrin Radd. Such a great character. I don't remember if the 90s cartoon was actually good but I enjoyed it a lot just cuz it was so different.

It picked up in South America, where Hulk left off, but the flashback bits told a different story than the Ang Lee film.

Re: Favorite Movie in Marvel's Cinematic Universe?
I do believe I'm one of very few who loves Hulk in every incarnation, Hulk (yes, non-MCU I know), TIH and of course in The Avengers. TIH is high up on my MCU list. On this account, I am alone.

Rank the Marvel Cinematic Universe films
I promise I did a search for this and nothing came up. Maybe I was using the wrong search terms. Anyway, I thought this could be a useful catchall thread for the MCU. As each film comes out, we can update our rankings and see if our thoughts have changed on certain films, see if the metastory is affecting our rankings, etc. I assume this will also lead to some spirited debate about the quality of various films in the MCU. And since they're tied in, I'll also include the TV shows, both ABC and Netflix.
Currently the most recent Marvel release is Age of Ultron, so I will rank them this way (best to worst):
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
The Avengers
Iron Man 3
Guardians of the Galaxy
Captain America: The First Avenger
Iron Man
Daredevil (Netflix)
Thor
Agent Carter (ABC)
Thor: The Dark World
The Incredible Hulk
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Iron Man 2
Agents of SHIELD (ABC)

Re: Rank the Marvel Cinematic Universe films
It's funny, I searched for old threads about this too last night. I think the last ones have been under the guise of your favorite MCU movie polls -
http://forum.dvdtalk.com/movie-talk/...-universe.html
http://forum.dvdtalk.com/movie-talk/...rvels-mcu.html
http://forum.dvdtalk.com/movie-talk/...-universe.html
My rankings have shifted a bit since some of these, but I think I would go -
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
The Avengers
Iron Man
Guardians of the Galaxy
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Captain America: The First Avenger
Thor
Thor: The Dark World
Iron Man 2
The Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 3
If we're throwing in TV series, I'd put Daredevil after Ultron, and Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter after Thor 2.

The only one I really don't like is Iron Man 2. The rest are all very worthwhile, obviously some more than others.
Agents of SHIELD really doesn't enter into a discussion of the films. Neither does Daredevil. Two entirely different beasts. But if I had to weave them in as a measure of overall quality, Daredevil would probably be somewhere in between the first Iron Man and CA: TFA, whereas Agents of SHIELD would be well at the bottom. I gave up on Agent Carter pretty quickly. Ecch.

Re: Rank the Marvel Cinematic Universe films
I'd probably go with:
Captain America: The First Avenger
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Thor
The Avengers
Iron Man
The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Guardians of the Galaxy
Thor: The Dark World
Iron Man 2
Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 3
Thor and Captain America:TFA have a special spot for me, because those were my two favorite Marvel characters as a kid, and those two films pretty much captured exactly what I liked about those comics all those years ago.
