The backlash to selling such a limited supply of BTTF Pepsi bottles, and them selling out so fast is just so comical to watch on twitter.

I want to drink all those tears. ALL OF THEM.

Honestly companies know by now that advertising something like this and making it available in such a limited quantity is going to cause a backlash. I truly hate the random time and if you happen to be lucky enough you'll get one mentality of these limited items (Mondo does the same bullshit with their prints). Just announce the time of the sale and give people at least an hour and fulfill the amount of orders you get in that time. That way everyone who wants one gets a chance at getting one and the item is still sort of limited. I missed last night's and I won't be to get the one this afternoon because I'm at work.

Why is everything going BTTF crazy today? Today is not the 30th anniversary is it?

October 21st, 2015 is the date that Marty, Jennifer, and Doc travel to in Back to the Future Part II.

So what was the time of day that they arrive at on 10/21/15? And how long did they stay? Did they stick around until 10/22?

Sorry, my memory is hazy on these details.

Re: Back to the Future theatrical revival (How likely?)

Ahh, thanks.

From my memory they arrive at 2015 Hill Valley in the dark of very early morning when they are on "the road". When they land in town the rain stops and it is daylight. By the time they get to "future Marty's" house it is the evening, because the dad comes home from work and it's dinner time. Biff steals the time machine, returns, and then Marty and everyone get back in and leave 2015. I'd say it was before midnight.

I don't think we know exactly how much time elapsed but I think (looking at the screen grab from above) they arrived around 4PM and it was the evening when they went back to alternate 1985. They were only there a few hours or so more than likely, not a whole day.

Edit: Mabuse beat me to it.

USA Today is supposed to have a BTTF wrap on tomorrow's paper 10/22/15 to mimic the paper in the movie.

Was at a red carpet screening of Back to the Future II in NYC tonight, the cast was there and did a Q&A panel. It was a blast!

So why hasn't Bob Gale done anything big profile since the BTTF series?

Wilson's apparently tired of BttF. He refused to be interviewed for the recent book on the trilogy, Where We're Going We Don't Need Roads.

He seems to be in good spirits about it a few weeks ago (in the video below), accompanying a Delorean in Chicago. He was in town for a show, but still talked about the Cubs prediction.

Has anyone checked out the new doc called Back in Time? It's on Netflix. I thought it was pretty damn good and thorough. It spent a bit too much time on the kooky super-fans and cosplayers, but I'm sure some viewers will like that stuff.

It definitely has the most Eric Stoltz footage I've ever seen. Alan Smithee should like it because it features the Century 21 Dome both inside and out. Evidently they had the first preview there.
