that shouldn't be a prob - actors can buff up with no prob...you've seen those recent shots of Jake gylanhall, right? That actor used to be a scrawny beanpole. I couldn't believe how big he got for his Prince of Persia flick...

I'm sure the producers are just going to choose some flat-chested scrawney petite actress that can't act, but has a great smile..

I like Eva Green a whole lot. While I think a comic book movie is most certainly beneath her, I think she deserves the fame that goes along with a big movie like that.

She's been in comic-book type adventure/action movies already:

James Bond (British superhero)
Arsène Lupin (French superhero)
Franklyn (Gothic superhero)
Golden Compass (fantasy)

Concerning being beneath certain roles, she's actually been in only one art-housy film - The Dreamers - all her other films are as mainstream as they can get. That's why she's perfect.

Sarcasm.

Eva looks ok, but not particularly striking for the part. I think an unknown would be better.

I like the idea of an unknown as well, but I just fear another Superman mistake. Look what that did with Superman Returns. They got some Christopher Reeve clone, but acts like a zombie and has no screen presence.

I'm just saying, if they pick a famous actress to play Wonder Woman, I can only think of Eva Green. Since she is an international star, it would help the movie make money in europe for example.

I'm not sure what you mean about striking since I thought that Eva Green is as striking as they come - can you give me an example of some other actress who is considered to be striking?

I think Megan Fox is more striking then she is, not that I care for her to be Wonder Woman. But as far as the part goes, isn't WW like a 6 foot amazon? Eva seems the dainty type to me. It seems like you just have a thing for her to go on and on about her for the last few posts and challenge anyone that doesn't agree.

And Superman Returns had bigger problems then the actor they chose for Supes, but that opinion varies too. Personally I thought he was limited by plot/script/writing more then ability.

I think Megan Fox is just awful. She's an awful actress, she's ordinary, not naturally gorgeous (she's Miss Make-up) and she has porn-star looks. She's at the same level/hype of a Pamela Anderson or Carmen Elektra. She's the same height as Eva Green by the way. I do love Eva. But I also love Jennifer Connelly, Salma Hayak, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, and Monica Bellucci, but they aren't right for Wonder Woman.

I'm not disagreeing, I just want to hear who and why they think an actress should be cast as Wonder Woman, instead of fanboy drool girls. People were saying Monrena Baccarin should be Wonder Woman after Firefly/Serenity. She's even a worse actress than Jessica Alba. Megan Fox is still riding off Transformers....

People will see Wonder Woman regardless if it has someone famous or not. The key is the good acting and good story.

I think Megan is far from ordinary, and obviously a lot of people drool over her looks. But like I already said, I wouldn't be so sure of her as Wonder Woman either which is why I'd prefer an unknown.

I think Megan Fox would play an awesome Wonder Woman villain such as:

Cheetah

Circe

Sorry, that only works for for becoming President.

Unless you can show me an instance where Wonder Woman, at any time in history, has been portrayed as something other than caucasian of Grecian descent, she should remain caucasian. That's like making a Smurf movie in which they are red skinned instead of blue.

Beyonce wants to be a black superheroine? She can be Captain Marvel.

Unless you can show me an instance where Wonder Woman's race matters, you should stop making inane analogies. The Kingpin is always portrayed as white, but Michael Clarke Duncan is the single best choice to play him and it worked because his race was a non-issue.

Shouldn't it matter since all of her people are the same race and color? I guess they can make that mixed as well, but i thought everyone was "white." I don't know, either way I'd prefer they didn't change the race of characters that people are familiar with. It may not matter based on the actual characters actions and storylines, but in terms of seeing a familiar comic book character come to life it becomes unfamiliar.

Sorry, but Michael Clarke Duncan was horrible as the Kingpin. I felt he didn't embody anything of what Wilson Fisk was. There was nothing intimidating about him other than his size. He's a poor version of Deebo. And truthfully, that was it, he fit the physical requirements MSJ needed, but IMO that didn't make him the best man for the job.

And there are a good handful of better ACTORS that would have been a better selection, but because there was a size requirement, that's how MSJ stood to defend his decision. Did it work? For some it did, for others it didn't. But DD nor Kingpin is as iconic of a comic book character as Wonder Woman.

Well what about Catwoman? That's been played both ways. And before anybody says anything I think the calliber (or lack thereof) of the acting was the reason that last one sucked. *never saw it

I still think Charisma Carpenter would be the best choice.

I'll allow you all to Google for any additional photos.

Not bad. She obviously looks great, but her acting is a little suspect from what I've seen of her.

Does Charisma look any different now since her Buffy days? She was pretty awesome then, not sure how she's aged.

Fumanstan just brought up an important point:

1. Charisma is now old.
2. Charsima is now plastic-looking (she's had surgery all over - not a good representative of a Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman should be all-natural).
3. Charisma is an awful actress.

She might be good for a Wonder Woman TV show...but not for the movie...

You can't tell from Charisma Carpenter's photos that she's now currently Plastic Woman and not as hot as she was 10 years ago? She would make a phenomenal-looking Wonder Woman years ago, but not now.
