Sounds more like a video game, but who knows.

Could This Be the Name of the Next Star Wars Film?
With Rogue One set to hit theaters in a week, what better time for Lucasfilm to start releasing information about Star Wars Episode VIII? Principle photography for the next full Star Wars film finished this summer with the next movie scheduled for release Dec. 15, 2017. But what will it be called?
The answer might come from a trademark filing Lucasfilm submitted today to the European Union Intellectual Property Office for “Star Wars Forces of Destiny.”
What lends credence to Forces of Destiny being the name of Episode VIII is the lengthy list of goods and services the name is being trademarked for. The list of items is more than 2000 words long and includes items from staplers to Christmas tree ornaments. And yes, motion picture films is on the list, as well as the usual merchandise like toys and various articles of clothing.
The timing of the filing is also important. With Episode VIII set for release in about a year, a teaser trailer is expected at any moment, with the Dec. 14 premier of Rogue One being a likely place to unveil it.

Yeah, crap title... hopefully they come up with something more original than that.
In other news, MakingStarWars is reporting Snoke will at least partially be portrayed using a 7-foot articulated puppet. They'll probably be CG facial enhancements, but that's still good news to me. I really disliked how that character was rendered in the last movie.

Yeah that name kind of sucks.
Two "force" titles in a row is pretty awkward.
I'd rather they come up with an oddball bad title like "The Phantom Menace" than a boring and redundant bad title.

The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith are 2 of the only good things the PT had going for it. The names of the movies, not the movies themselves.

Titles often do seem lame up front (this does), but I have a bigger issue than the lameness ... Forces of Destiny. Forces? There is only one Force ...
Maybe that penetrate thing explains the "Lucas raped my childhood" movement.

TGM is correct. I have a feeling Disney won't go against the running theme of the second movie in each trilogy using some kind of action verb in the title.

TFA better fits with II and V, which suggest an action:Empire Strikes, Clones Attack, etc.

I would also assume that "forces of destiny" is a play on words, and implies that it is not just The Force that is being refereed to, ie, there is more than one force at play.
Still lame as shit if it's the actual title. I would hope that it's just part of some kind of promotion, and not what they'll call the movie.

It really sounds more like a theme park ride.

Re: Star Wars: Episode VIII (12/15/17, W/D: Rian Johnson)
Obligatory:
Quantum of Force
Force Harder (rejected for being "too rapey")
Jedi Boogaloo
Return of the Jedi (better fit for this film actually)
Star Wars 8: The Search for Luke
The Force Has a Cup of Coffee and Gets Dressed for Work
SW8: Another Death Star
==================================
Seriously though ... Think of the titles as chapter titles ...
The Jedi Prophecy
The Lost Jedi
Destiny of the Empire
Knights of Ren
Rise of the New Empire

The only important part of the title is Star Wars.

Pick up right where The Force Awakens left off and call it Star Wars: The Endless Stare.

Attack of the Clones sounded sweet... and look how that turned out. That said, yeah, the title doesn't do it for me as a movie or a video game.

Disagree. Attack of the Clones was and is an awful, hokey sounding title, and in general, people pretty much hated it right away.
