The weird thing about JGTH to me is that I original saw it on BET, of all places. Why, I'll never know. Watching slasher movies edited for television is hilarious though. The shot of Jason stepping on the condom wrapper is the most staggeringly literal thing I've ever seen. It has one of the most explicit sex=death shots I've ever seen. That's mostly what I remember about it . I guess the body-snatchers type concept was an attempt to spice things up a but, but I don't remember much about the film.

Not really. That was a call back to Frankenstein having him be resurrected by lightening. The dog peeing fire was stupid though. Actually all of Freddy's rebirths were pretty stupid.

Jason Goes to Hell is an awful Jason movie but I enjoy it as a gore movie.

That's because it was directed by Danny Steinmann, who graduated from making hardcore porn flicks in the 70's to exploitation classics like Savage Streets in the 80's.

That's news to me. I do know that in a reversal, Tom McGloughlin is now directing Lifetime movies. I saw one. I don't know why.
