Westerns - the evil land baron gets his come-upance
Rom-Coms - The unlikely pair who hate each other will fall in love and the foil will get his come-upance
Sci-Fi - super dude or chick gives bad guy or creature his come-upance
Comedies - do something your not supposed to, hilarity ensues, foil gets come-upance
There I just saved you a ton of time. You can ignore these other genres as well.
By the way, don't waste your time on Apollo 13, they make it, or Titanic, they don't

Honestly, I'd put this movie more in an espionage/conspiracy genre than the superhero genre.
That's what's been so great about these Marvel movies, each of them are pretty much different genre movies from each other, which just happen to have superheros for their leads.

I liked it, but preferred the first one. Can't believe Scarlett was driving a corvette! Terrible.
I liked the time period of the first one.
I shall grade it 6/10
Was super disappointed with the final credit scene. Boring!

Also, indie movie-despondent guy who has an existential crisis meets and enchanting young woman and their sex life reinvigorates him to become a more active member of society. Still waiting on that one to happen to me .

So she's not allowed to reference something from before she was born? If the argument is that the movie is too obscure, keep in mind that she is an expert computer programmer, so it's not like it's off her radar. Weird thing to me is that Captain America had seen it. I don't think that would have been so high on his movie list, considering Rocky was unchecked.

I rarely see a flim in 3D, in the past few years only seen Avatar, Man of Steel and Gravity that way and MoS wasn't even needed 3D imo.
As for Capt, amazing film certainly the best of the year so far and my second favorite Marvel film, only Iron Man (the first) beating it out.

3D was OK, but the IMAX gave it a ton more clarity.

Jesus Christ. Captain America could have been flipping the channel one night, landed on TBS and ended up watching WarGames. It's not like it's hard to see movies.

very entertaining. i thought the fight scenes were just excellent. i preferred that they went with more traditional effects and stunts as opposed to total CGI. harkened back to action movies of old. a little long winded however and the villan(s) weren't as foreboding as i would like them to be. very solid though.

Well, this is a movie forum.
Plus on other places people have been arguing about the order and contents of Cap's list in different markets, so I wouldn't worry too much about this one little thought throwing off the thread's equilibrium.

I just went to see The Winter Soldier again today (took my dad) and I actually liked it more the 2nd time than the first time (and I liked it a lot the first time).
It's definitely up there with my favorite Marvel movies.
