Its sad to watch that video, I hope he can return to better health in the near future. I don't know what kind of future he can have as an actor.

It's very tough. I remember when Christopher Reeves had that accident that left him paralyzed. He still managed to play some roles but it wasn't the same, it was heartbreaking to watch. It was also painful to watch some comedians making fun of him and his condition.

Serious question:

do you remember Christopher Reeves or Cristopher Reeve?

Re: Val Kilmer Appreciation Thread.

Just watched Heat again the other night, this time in 4K on my Apple TV 4K. He was at the height of his acting powers in a lot of ways, even if his character felt rather shortchanged (understandably given the two main leads dominating). He stayed pretty solid for about a decade, but I guess his health really affected his ability to act the way we’ve grown accustomed to experiencing. He was great in The Salton Sea and Spartan.

If anyone cares, Heat is on sale for $7.99 off iTunes , and the PQ and HDR is subtle yet effective.

I’m not disputing the results the characters achieve in the story, just how they get there. Johnson didn’t expand Force mythos, he just made it up as he went along.
Why did you change to talking about TLJ?

He was a great Batman as well. The only Batman that greatly smiled.

Re: Val Kilmer Appreciation Thread.

I enjoyed his take on Batman until Christian Bale set the standard that's going to be tough to beat. Still, Batman Forever is still 90's cheesy fun to watch.

I wish him well.
