Just watched Heat again the other night, this time in 4K on my Apple TV 4K. He was at the height of his acting powers in a lot of ways, even if his character felt rather shortchanged (understandably given the two main leads dominating). He stayed pretty solid for about a decade, but I guess his health really affected his ability to act the way we’ve grown accustomed to experiencing. He was great in The Salton Sea and Spartan.
If anyone cares, Heat is on sale for $7.99 off iTunes , and the PQ and HDR is subtle yet effective.

I enjoyed his take on Batman until Christian Bale set the standard that's going to be tough to beat. Still, Batman Forever is still 90's cheesy fun to watch.
