No.. Cranston should be Gordon. Like he was in Batman Year One.

I'm pretty sure only one Lantern is black. If you're referring to Baz, he's Arab-American.

Pink Lanterns aren't actually in the comics. Pink kryptonite however is! Although its really just a joke too. Peter David wrote a pink kryptonite humorous story in his Supergirl run. Peter David always tends to write less serious more funny types of stories.

Ch'p!! If Marvel can do a Guardians of the Galaxy movie with Rocket Raccoon, then surely DC could do a Green Lantern Corps movie with Ch'p.

Yes, I am referring to Simon Baz. I'm pretty sure he's half-Arab half-black.

Kind of like how Miles Morales (the new Ultimate Spider-Man) is half-black half-latino.

Technically they are called the Star Sapphire Corps, but their shade of violet looks awfully pink to me. If people don't know, their rings are powered by love. I kid you not...

Their version of the oath:

For Hearts Long Lost. And Full of Fright. For Those Alone In Blackest Night. Accept Our Ring and Join Our Fight -- Love Conquers All -- With Violet Light!

Ch'p was featured on an episode of the CGI Green Lantern cartoon and he was actually pretty badass.

Are you color blind? They're purple. Violet is purple.

The different Lantern Corps:

Green Lanterns powered by willpower.
Sinestro Corps (Yellow Lanterns) powered by fear.
Blue Lanterns powered by hope.
Star Sapphires (Violet Lanterns) powered by love.
Red Lanterns powered by rage.
Orange Lantern powered by greed. There is only one Orange Lantern, because the orange power is greed, and so the greediest motherfucker in the universe takes the orange power all to himself.

Then there are the Black Lanterns powered by death introduced in Blackest Night.
White Lanterns powered by life were introduced at the end of Blackest Night.

The Green Lantern stuff should really be spun off into it's own thread.

Yellow Lanterns don't really make sense when you think about it. Every other Corps is powered by the emotions of the user (willpower, love, hope, etc.). But the Yellow Lanterns are powered by the feelings of the beings around the user. If they were powered by their own fear, they'd be super powerful but too afraid to take any action. Instead they're all despotic.

For Batman vs Superman we are not going to see a military suit Batman. We going to see a devilish gothic like evil looking batman.

Yeah, something along the lines of a Simon Bisley or Glenn Fabry design is what I'm envisioning.

I am excited for this film now. I watched MOS tonight on BD after hating it in the theater and my view on the film has completely changed. I really enjoy it now and the problems I had with it the first time are gone. I am also glad that with Affleck playing Wayne/Batman it they will be separate from the Nolan trilogy which I still feel is terrible. Since my complete turnaround on MOS I might even re-watch the Abrams Star Trek films to see if my feelings for them have changed.

I don't hate the Nolan trilogy. They're good, but nothing all that special. They try too hard to be serious and forget to be fun at the same time. The Avengers I can watch and re-watch over and over again because its just so fun. Nolan's Batman isn't nearly as rewatchable.

Del Toro Says "Justice League Dark" Part of Shared DC Movie Universe

"Warner Bros. are making plans for the entire DC Universe, all the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is Justice League Dark," del Toro said. "They're planning on TV, movies, all the media, so we have to fit within that plan."

Del Toro has been attached to a possible "Justice League Dark" film since 2012, and discussed the intended plot this past March at WonderCon in Anaheim.
Interesting. That's one advantage that DC has over Marvel, that all of their properties are owned by a single studio. Be interesting to see what they can do with it.

Please let Arrow be a part of the universe.

Fuck, WB needs to let GDT be at the helm of the remaining DC universe just like Nolan was given Batman.

I get the feeling after what Smith said that its gonna be a back to basics with the classic blue, grey and yellow. After the dark suits of the Nolan movies i think they will want a color counter balance against Superman. I think it would be a more interesting choice at the least.

Yeah....a shame though that the majority of characters are incredibly dull and boring.

It's supposed to be based off the NOEL costume...so an emblem that is part of the cape seems likely.
