Going back and rewatching why does it seem like Bats simply put of his hands to block whatever blast Doomsday did when WW had to use her shield? I'm sure it's editing together 2 different scenes but it looks weird.

Huh? Bruce not trusting Superman is NOT a new concept so this is consistent. Even when they are "friends" Bruce/Batman side-eyes Superman.

Also, Batman with the duster coat is a figure based on a comic right?
I'm sure i've seen a toy of that.

I was really enjoying the trailer until the last 30 seconds when it got too spoilery. They should have just left it at Batman v Superman with Lex instigating.

One of them should have given Lex a wedgie.

Yeah, I thought that was edited funny too. The explosion they show is gigantic so its funny that Batman would somehow survive.

Between this and that last trailer, WB has pretty much shown the whole movie in under 6 minutes. I don't know why they would want to give away so much. There truly is no mystery left to the movie and how it unfolds at this point.

I honestly think because they know it's going to suck balls.

Jesse Eisenberg looks awful as Lex Luthor but Henry Cavill is really stinking up the joint too. So wooden.

I was surprised that Cavill in The Man From UNCLE was actually kind of swaggering. He actually has some personality. I'm wondering if he's at fault here, or if it's also the writing and directing.

Man I wish they could have gone the Star Wars route with the trailer. That gave away way too much.

The scenes of Batman in the Batwing looks awesome. Gal Gadot looks great as Wonder Woman. Jeremy Irons as Alfred is a great casting choice.
But like someone said the the dialogue is too on-the-nose.
"Freaks dressed like clowns."
"Bruce Wayne meets Clark Kent!"
to Batman, "You should NOT pick a fight with this person!"
Doomsday looks like a generic CGI monster but I was never a fan of him in the first place. In the original comic he was the poor man's Kid Miracleman.
This film might have some stronger relevance for me if it was a continuation of Nolan and Bale's Batman. The establishment of a more realistic approach to Batman was what made it so interesting and it seems like this is a regression. Some of the action scenes in this film look like they came from a video game, like we're just watching action figures being moved around.
And Luthor is horrible. Why do they insist on portraying Lex as campy in all the films? The film has this dark tone, lifting scenes and dialogue from The Dark Knight Returns, and yet there's this wacky Eisenberg camping it up all over the place.
There's lots of inspiration they could have used for a compelling Lex Luthor. Azzarello wrote a good comic Luthor: Man of Steel. He was also pretty cool in the animated series and in Smallville.

I've watched the trailer a few more times and Lex has grown on me. Especially when he cuts into the scene all loud and shit. "BOYS!!!" He's such an ADHD spaz. He scales back down when Amy Smart calls him a psychotic and during the Senate hearing.
