I'm glad to see Aliens winning by a wide margin. It is just an unrelenting film. It sets a few things up during the first 10 minutes and then it's just non-stop from then on.

Aliens is? Uh, I love the film, but no. They don't fire one bullet until Vasquez yells "let's rock" more than one hour into the film. The first part is all set up.
