Movie's currently at $408 million internationally. Deadline's predicting that it may end up somewhere around $850 if it doesn't slow down too much, especially since it's yet to open in some markets.
Not bad for a film series that was pretty much DOA after Superman Returns.

I always did love that cover with the little boy crying as if he's about to be raped by Superman.
Then of course there is also the infamous Bryne issue where Superman and Big Barda made a porno:

^ Oddly enough there isn't many "I'm so emo it hurts" Superman besides Earth One.
Like I said, it seems that Zack Snyder was a real big fan of Superman is a Dick meme.
