Cusack did seem like a prick when he did a interview for KNBR a local sports talk radio station a couple of years ago.

So will the jokes be about the 90s and grunge? I hope so, I hated everything about the decade.

Can we get a hot tub time machine, go back to the end of last decade, and have Adam Scott take over the John Cusack role in the original film when Anders and Morris were still attached to direct the picture causing Cusack not to signing on to the role which caused Anders and Morris to get fired so his butt buddy (Pink) got the directing job instead?
John Cusack is a cocksucker. I'm glad he's not getting work anymore.

Turns out we’re getting Hot Tub Time Machine 2 sooner than we thought. After months of speculation regarding a follow-up to the 2010 comedy, last week Adam Scott joined the cast, replacing John Cusack in the cast that features Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and Rob Corddry. Now Corddry confirmed the film will start shooting in the next week or so with Steve Pink returning to direct.
And that’s not all. While appearing on the Howard Stern Show Corddry explained a bunch of additional facts, including one particularly revealing nugget: Scott will be playing the son of Cusack’s character as the hot tub sends the group into the future.
Corddry told Stern Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will primarily take place 10 years in the future. However, since the first film wasn’t a massive hit and this sequel is pretty much a labor of love, the budget is significantly lower. So they’ve worked the lack of budget for cool future tech into the script. He gave one example, where the characters joke about how the future hasn’t changed that much and, as they’re walking away, they don’t see a guy putting a pug on a Hoverboard.
He also said the tentative title until two weeks ago was “Hot Tub Time Machine 3: Because Hot Tub Time Machine 2 Hasn’t Happened Yet.” However the marketing department forced them to change it.
Expect a full press release soon if the film is really as close to production as Corddry suggests.

EXCLUSIVE: The repairman is getting back in the Hot Tub Time Machine business. Chevy Chase will reprise his role as the advice dispensing mysterious repairman in the sequel to 2010’s Hot Tub Time Machine. Details are sketchy about whether the actor will play a bigger role in the sequel than he did in the original. Certainly in the first one Chase’s character was pivotal to explaining how John Cusack, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Clark Duke ended up back in 1986 and the role a certain energy drink played. Chase is the latest of the Hot Tub crew to jump back in. Corddry, Robinson and Duke will be back too as will director Steve Pink. Cusack will not returning, but Parks and Recreation‘s Adam Scott is set to climb onboard. Chase is repped by Paradigm and KLWGN Entertainment.
EXCLUSIVE: Gillian Jacobs has landed the female lead in MGM’s Hot Tub Time Machine 2, the Steve Pink-directed sequel that stars Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke, Adam Scott and her former Community co-star Chevy Chase. Jacobs has Walk Of Shame in the can, which she stars in opposite Elizabeth Banks and James Marsden, with Film District releasing September 20. Jacobs also will be seen this fall in the Jacob Vaughan-directed comedy Milo opposite Ken Marino and Peter Stormare, following its SXSW premiere. She also has the Thomas Beatty-directed Teddy Bears opposite Jason Ritter and Melanie Lynskey.

I wouldn't mind seeing a prequel that gets into the Cincinnati incident. Clark Duke wouldn't be necessary, but Cusack would.

Paramount will release MGM‘s Hot Tub Time Machine sequel wide on December 25, 2014, the studio just announced. Paramount came aboard in December as worldwide distributor for the pic, after MGM/UA released the first one in 2010 and grossed a so-so $50.3 million domestically (it scored better digitally and on-demand). MGM is handling select international territories on this one. Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, and Clark Duke return for the sequel, along with Steve Pink who directs from a screenplay by Josh Heald. In the sequel, when Lou (Corddry) finds himself in trouble, Nick (Robinson) and Jacob (Duke) fire up the hot tub time machine in an attempt to get back to the past. But they inadvertently land in the future. Now they have to alter the future in order to save the past — which is really the present.

Ha, so John Cusack won't be back, right? I really like that white girl with the big tits that springs on the guys in the hot tub - I forget her name. She's a brunette. That's all I've got.

I don't think I knew who she was at that time since that like 4 years ago. I recently saw her in a pretty cool comedy called "Suck" and she did not have a rack that big.

/\ They're big, all right. Check out Lost & Delirious from 2000, if you get the chance.
